It was the week of the Captains ball and all of the captains was busy getting their paperwork done, looking for somebody to go to the ball with, and an outfit to wear. Captain Hitsugaya already had outfit ready he just needed to finish Rangiku's and his paperwork. He was never happy every time Rangiku left when it was time to do the paperwork.

"Rangiku Matsumoto!!!!" He yelled but knowing that Rangiku would not come and just in that instant Hinamori Momo his child hood friend open the door to his quarters

"Shiro-chan can I finish my paperwork in here with you?" I asked

"Whoa Momo its Captain Hitsugaya to you and I don't mind" He said

"Thanks Hitsugaya-kun" I said as I pulled up a sit and my paperwork down on the table

"Wow Momo you got all that done?" He asked

"Well I started last night but I fell asleep" I said as I started to fill out the papers again

"Oh Momo you look tired you do know that it's the week of the dance right?" Hitsugaya asked me

"Yeah I know I'm not going I want to get some rest since Rangiku woke me up do looking for a dress I didn't want to turn her down so I said yes" I said as I was writing

"Oh" He said I noticed something in his voice that I didn't hear before

"Is there something wrong?" I asked him

"No Momo there is nothing wrong" He stood up and took my papers "Go get your rest please" He said he was being nice with himself even knowing

"Ok Hitsugaya-kun" I walked from behind the table and went to the door "Um about my quarters"

"Go ahead Momo" He said he looked up from the papers and looked at his private quarters

"Thank you Hitsugaya-kun" I said as walked toward his quarters

I open the door to Hitsugaya's private quarters and the wallpaper was ice blue with a dragon on it. I walked over to his bed and the covers and pillows was dark blue with ice dragons on them.

"Dragon freak" I whisper to myself as I looked around

Deeper in the quarters his couch was a dark and light blue and dragons on it, his bathroom was the same color blue as his eyes and the wall had a painted picture of his ice dragons. I walked back towards the front looking at his carpet, which was a royal blue with ice dragons on it. As I walked back to the bed, I bumped into Toushiro.

"Oh Toushiro I didn't she you there" I said

"Now that is a lie Momo I'm taller that you now" He smiled at me

"Yeah that is true but I wasn't paying attention" I said to him as he stared into my hazelnut color eyes

"I know why you didn't want to go to your quarters now" He said as my eyes widen

"Why?" I asked him as I walked closer to the door

"A little birdie to..." He was cut off by me running out the door grabbing the letter and running toward…well anywhere quite so I could read the letter

I stopped running when I knew I was out of sight of everyone the only thing I had to worry about was the rare hallows appearing. The letter reads:

Captain Toushiro,

Do to Lt. Hinamori lost of her captain we are moving her to your squad where she will be under protection by you. We strongly understand that this is a big shock to you but Hinamori doesn't know of this news yet. She will not have her own quarters at all so we need her to stay with you under your care.

Captain Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai

'WHAT!' I mental screamed in my head 'Why my quarters' I was in deep though and didn't realize I had a hallow near me. It moved on to be later killed by somebody. I quickly got out of the tree to ran back to Toushiro's quarters. By the time, I got back to Toushiro's quarters I could hear his light sores from his bed, as I got closer to his face I could see he was looking for me from the cut on his cheek. I walked towards his closet and grabbed a blanket and when to the couch and that is where I slept for the night.
