Title: Forever Together

Disclaimer: I do not own CSI:NY, Anthony Zuiker and CBS do.

Author's Note: Jo/Mac, sad but not too bad. This fic was written in honor of my late grandmother who would have been 90 now. Also I have no idea what year Jo was born so I am guessing 1967.

McKenna Boyd "Mac" Taylor, Jr., 92, & Josephine "Jo" Charlotte Taylor, 90

Mac and Jo Taylor passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, February 4 in New York City. They died in each other's arms as it was what they had wanted. Mac Taylor was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 1, 1965 the son of the late Army Major McKenna Boyd Taylor, Sr. and late Millie Taylor. Mac had served in the Marine Corp and was discharged as a Major in 1992 and had served as head of the NY Crime Lab until after his 65th birthday and remained a consultant after retirement. Jo Taylor (neƩ Danville) was born on May 18, 1967 in Lexington, Virginia the daughter of the late William Danville, Esquire and Elizabeth Danville. Although it seemed like a sad day with two former NYPD's finest no longer with them, Ellie along with her cousins and nieces and nephews knew Mac and Jo were now together in heaven and are now their guardian angels.

Both services had been both beautiful and touching both at the church and at the internment. It was suggested by Stella Bonasera-Lyle and agreed upon by everyone else beforehand Ellie would accept both her mom's and dad's flag. Ellie was touched to be chosen one to take both flags; she thought Tyler would have wanted their mom's flag or Rylan and Magnolia would want the flags but Tyler, Ryland and Magnolia all agreed with Stella (who they had met and gotten to know over the years) that Ellie deserved the honor.

Now she, Tyler, Ryland, and Magnolia were visiting their gravestones replacing the flowers from last week

Taylor

Beloved by all

Rest in Peace

Silent for a moment she let a tear roll down her cheek and Ellie began, "Hey mom, hey dad Ry, Maggie, Tyler, and I are all here to see you, we miss you so much. Everything is well. Grayson Jr. has listed in the Marines, you would be proud of him dad when he said he wanted to be like his grandfather and great grandfather."

When Ellie finished what she wanted to say she stepped back and let her siblings talk a little bit. After forty-five minutes they promised they would be back again and were on their way home to carry on with life.
