There's a lot going on at Shake It Up!
The two new girls, CeCe and Rocky. I swear I saw CeCe turn a little redder when her friend with the spikey hair- Moose, was it?- walked up.
That's what you get when you become the host of a number-one T.V. show.
You notice stuff.
"Don't forget to wear a coat, Gare-Gare!" My mother calls before I leave.
"Yes, mother."
"And be home by ten!"
"Yes, mother."
"Have fun, honey!"
I leave before I can answer. Man, living with your mom can always be a downer. I mean, sure, it wasn't my fault my house is being fumagated. Uh, two years ago, but still.
I pull up to my baby, the Shake It Up! studio. I left my coat there after the show.
I climb out of my red poursh.
"Okay, I'll be right back," I assure my car, rubbing the hood. "Daddy only has to go get his coat out of his work, and then he'll be right back."
As I walk up the steps, the cold wind nips my ears. I wrap my old coat from last year around me, for the one that fit me was in the studio.
When I approach the door, I see that it's slightly opened a crack. My body goes into hyper-mode. Was somebody in there?
I tip-toe quietly through the hallways, trying not to make a single sound. I want to catch this criminal in the act; what if I get on the news, and get tons of money for appreciation for catching a bandit? I could buy a big mansion for only me to live in! (And Oprah, of course.)
But is that giggles I hear? For sure, criminals don't giggle. It makes them seem girly.
I peer around the corner of the stage. I see two teenagers, a guy and a girl, sitting on a stage.
Oooohhhh... I think. This is a date.
As I look a little harder, the two faces become more clear. Was that Tinka, one of the dancers, and Rocky's older brother?
"I'm glad you agreed to another date, Tinka." Ty says.
"Thank you for taking me on my second date, Ty." Tinka replies in her thick accent. "It's nice to 'hang out' with somebody other 'dan my brother or a small pig."
"Yeah, well…"
I wanted to run in there and rain on their parade, but I couldn't.
I turn around, leaving the two 'love birds' to themselves. I remember my dad barging in when I was just about to kiss Lisa Gretchenhouser… she still wont talk to me…
After I climb into my car, and make it halfway home, I realize I left my coat there.
Oh, great.
