Chapter 1:
Sakura checked the clock, 1:32 am.
Same time every March 12, she left, going of to the grave yard to visit her parents' graves. They died in a car accident on their way back from work. They died right in front of Sakura. There was a man with a gun in her village, shooting anyone who came into the neighborhood. It just so happened her parents were the first to come in. When she heard the gun shot she froze, then got up the courage to look out her small bedroom window. The window was busted on the car she road to school in every morning. No, not her carpoolers' car, her parents' car.
She was about 12 when they died, and her Grandma, May Ann, took care of her. Her Grandma was always nice and caring singing to Sakura every night.
Sakura is now a 17-year-old. She's a med-nin (AN: SP?) because every time she heals someone, she thinks of how she could have saved her parents. It gives a feeling inside to lock it up all away, hiding this well kept secret. Thus, suddenly making her nice and sensitive. Sakura has an hourglass figure, light pink hair, beautiful green eyes, was a normal height, and very pretty. She goes to Konaha High. (AN: Made it up.)
When she got there, it started to rain. Also, the street lights weren't working, but it didn't matter because she memorized where her parents' graves were. Just her luck.
Sakura thought she heard a voice, but she was in such deep thought that at first she didn't notice. This time she heard it for sure.
"Well, look who's here." The voice sounded familiar, but she couldn't quite put her finger on which it was.
"Who is this?" Sakura asked. She knew the voice from somewhere. But this time, not to sarcastic or rude. Maybe it was... But she couldn't finish her thoughts because they were interrupted again.
"What brings you here?" The familiar voice asked. But Sakura wouldn't answer. She was determined to know who this was!
"Who are you?" She asked this time, but more demanding.
"You don't recognize me?"
"If you haven't noticed, the street lights are out"
"It's me Sasuke." He said plainly. Of Course! Sakura thought. Why didn't she notice this voice before?
"Oh…" Sakura replied. She felt a little stupid, but didn't show it.
"So like I said, what brings you here?" He asked. He wasn't exactly expecting to find her at a grave yard at 1:55 am. She wasn't expecting him either.
"I'm visiting my parents' grave." She said. It was about time she told someone her parents were dead.
"You never told me your parents were dead." He said. This was the first time in a long time that he seemed surprised at what she said to him.
"I've never told anyone before. Why are you here?" She said.
"My hamster died, and I was on my way to the pet store when I saw a car here. I thought someone was stealing a grave or something stupid like that." He said.
Sakura chuckled. It has been a long time since she came close to laughing on this day since 5 years ago.
"Chi Chu died?" She asked, worried. She suddenly became serious again.
"Yeah…" He said.
The full moon was casting a light, and Sakura could see Sasuke look down.
"It's okay…you can buy a new one… I guess…" She said. That was as about as comforting as she could get right at this second.
A long silence passed between them, and Sakura was getting sleepy.
"You should get home now. You'll catch a cold if you stay in the rain." Sasuke said wanting to suddenly sit beside her on the old bench, but decided not to bother her. Sasuke noticed how beautiful she looked, even in the rain, and then he saw Sakura had fallen asleep. What was he going to do?!
