Her footsteps were small,
just as her feet were small.
But she still ran, as fast as she could.
The raven's were swarming around her,
her father had sent for her.
She wanted to get away,
but they were to fast for her.
They had swarmed, and were about to carry her.
She knew she couldn't stop them.
She was to small.
Resigned to this fact, she was willing to stop struggling.
But, just before it was to late,
a man came and saved her.
Kraehe looked up,
and saw who it was,
the prince, her father hated.
She didn't know what to do,
so she simply thanked him.
After all, he was the one who had fought the raven,
and if he knew that she was a raven to,
then he might try to destroy him to.
But, at the same time, something about him interested her.
So she stayed, and didn't walk away.
After all, he did save her.
After a while, during which they had talked,
she had grown to love him.
How she wasn't sure,
but that didn't matter to her then.
She was about to leave,
but he asked her a question first.
He wanted to know her name.
Should she say Kraehe, or not?
After all, she wasn't sure if it was right,
so instead, she created a new one.
She called herself Rue,
and so it was begun.
She had a new name, a much better one.
