Disclaimer: Though nothing from Labyrinth is mentioned outright in this poem (besides the word "labyrinth"), my inspiration did come from that story. Thus, I feel I must say that I do not own any of the characters or the world of Labyrinth.

A shimmering crystal orb twirls about,

Showing me all my hidden desires,

Revealing something you should not find out:

That deep within me burns a lustful fire.

A predatory gleam within your eye

Causes the flames within my heart to blaze.

You seize my arms, and vainly do I try

To wrench myself free from your hungry gaze.

But the moment your lips crash into mine,

I cling to you as to the breath of life.

A single tear in firelight does shine;

Oh, your love will e'er cut me like a knife.

A more dangerous game I'll never play,

Than this labyrinth my heart runs for yours today.
