A/N Hi! everyone, this is my friends and I's first story, were kinda nervous we hope the story is okay! this first chapter isn't very long it's kind of a tester to see if we should continue. should we?

Disclaimer:We do not own Jasper/twilight, if we did Jasper wouldn't be married to Alice. We do own Amilia and Jason though.

The Story of Jasper's Life

It was raining hard outside, lightning and thunder crashing though the sky. It was quite a storm, Jasper stood at his study window, the lights were off, as he watched the storm rage on, the wind blowing harshly against the trees. When another streak of lightning flashed though the sky it light up the study, you could see two full length bookshelves fill up the walls on each side, both lined up with books about the civil war, there was a desk just in front of the large window that overlooked the garden, a book and highlighter lay abandoned on the desk.

Each of the Cullen's (plus a swan) were each doing their own respectable things. Rosalie and Emmett and Alice were in the living room, Em was playing video games while Rose sat on the sofa reading a car magazine, Alice had a black marker in one hand and a magazine in the other marking stuff off that she wanted to buy. She also had her laptop on her lap as she bought stuff online.

Esme was doing what she usual did, cleaning, and making dinner for bella (who was staying the weekend) it was something she enjoyed doing. Carlisle was in his office sorting out some papers for the hospital that he brought home. Edward was writing a song on the piano while Bella was listening and reading one of her books.

Jasper sighed as the rain hit the window hard, another flash of lighting ran though the sky soon followed by thunder. Rain, it wasn't that he hated it, he just disliked the memories it brought up. Painful memories. Like what happened that night.

He shook his head forcing himself not to remember. 'Some things are best left in the past' he thought, instead he tried thinking back to happier times.

Like the time he first met her.

-Flashback-

The day he met her for the first time he was ten, him and his friend were playing tag in the field…

"Hey! Jasper I'm gonna get you!" Jason yelled as he ran after him.

"No way!" Jasper yelled and looked back as he ran faster, not watching where he was going. She was picking flowers, as he ran right into her both of them falling over and rolled down the hill. "Ow!" she cried out, when they stopped at the bottom. "Watch where you're going jerk!" she yelled at him getting up. "Sorry! You okay?" Jasper asked getting up and offering his hand to help her, "yea-NO!" She screamed startling him "what? Are you hurt?" jasper asked freaking out. "Huh? No! You...you crushed my flowers!" she said kneeing down to pick up her crushed flowers. "Oh sorry" he told her grabbing a flower that wasn't crushed and giving it to her.

She took the offered flower from him, while tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Thanks" she said with a small smile, he smiled back. He opened his mouth to apologize again when he heard someone laughing their head off. Frowning he look to the top of the hill.

"Hahaha, dude! You shoulda seen yourself!" Jason said laughing as he came down the hill "you okay?" he asked still laughing a little, as he stopped in front of jasper "yeah, I'm okay" Jasper told him.

"Oh? Who's this jasper? She's cute" he said in fake whispering looking at the girl, "I can hear you, I'm not deaf!" she said glaring at Jason. "Cute and has a fiery temper" he said grinning; "Shut up Jason!" Jasper told him with a slap upside his head. "Ow! Man… what was that for?" he cried out, Jasper ignored him and turned to her "My name is Jasper Whitlock, it's nice to meet you and I'm very sorry for running into you" he told her holding out his hand grinning a little.

She took his hand shook it "I'm Amilia Johnson and it's okay, don't worry" she said smiling.
