Dear FanFiction Readers,
I am looking for two wonderful, angst filled, Harry Potter fanfics that I thought I had saved which may have been removed. However I would like to make sure by asking first and am hoping they were taken down and renamed by their writers instead of disappearing forever into the vast void of the internet.
The first one is a Harry Potter time travel work that. To summarize, after Harry talks with Dumbledore at Kings Cross in the Deathly Hallows, he decides to go back in time and returns to his 5th year at the Department of Mysteries in time to prevent Sirius from falling through the veil, but falls through himself. There he meets up with his parents who return him to the Department of Mysteries and Harry makes the decision to let everyone continue to think he is dead while he searches out and destroys the horcruxes.
He takes on a new identity, something like the Dark Phoenix and has multiple encounters with his friends who do not recognize him. Eventually, before the end he is revealed and there seems to be a sort of alternate reality that has set in where he can see how the first timeline and the current one that he has "fixed" plays out. The title was something like Harry Potter and the veil, but I could be mistaken.
The second fanfic that I am looking for the author has Harry die at the beginning from a cancer like spell that was cast by Voldemort in the last battle. Ginny was also in the vicinity, so she was a recipient of the same curse however it takes a couple of years to kill her. During that time, she inherits all of Harry's possessions and secretly has Harry's child who also dies shortly after birth. Ginny finally succumbs to this curse and is discovered to be missing. This is told through Tonk's point of view as she is released from her oath of secrecy after Ginny dies over both Harry's and their son's grave. I think this one had something to do with Breathing in the title.
Any help to find these fanfics is greatly appreciated. Even if the authors decided to move to a different fanfiction archive, I hope they did not delete these as they spent too much time writing them.
