Disclaimer: I don't own Glee. If I did, Karofsky would not be in the closet and Blaine would not be with Kurt.

A/N: This is my first Glee story - sorry if the characters seem a little off at any point. Karofsky may seem too nice, but this is my view inside his head, even if he's a jerk on the outside. Blam and Kurtofsky the whole way through, don't like, don't read.

The only seat on the bus was next to someone. Sam didn't mind that much. The boy next to the empty seat looked nice - brown curly hair and brown eyes with bronze skin and a confident smile. Ah, who was he kidding. That boy was a sex god, by anyone's standards.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" Sam asked, smiling.

"Oh, sure," the boy moved his bag.

"Hi," Sam held his hand out, "I'm Sam. Sam I Am. I like comic books."

"Is that how you generally introduce yourself?" the boy laughed, shaking Sam's hand.

"Yup. I think it's best to show someone who you really are first, then learn all the other crap second."

"Well, I like comic books too."

"Awesome!" Sam grinned even bigger, then looked confused, "sorry, you didn't say your name?"

"Blaine."

David was sat at the back, next to Azimo. Az said that they had to act cool to be cool - and sitting at the back was definitely cool.

There were other people on the bus he knew - Santana Lopez, Brittany Pierce and Quinn Fabray all were in his class in Middle School. Finn Hudson lived two blocks away, and Noah Puckerman's Mom knew his own Mom. There were lots of other people though - a couple of asian kids, one girl with a big-ass mouth... And they'd all looked at David when he got on the bus. Santana had winked at him behind her friend's backs, but David knew he couldn't return it without them seeing. He and Santana were sort of friends, but only secretly, because all the girls don't like him.

David doesn't like them either.

He's stopped being called David though - he's Karofsky now, a much scarier name. More fitting for someone cool.

David had been on the football team, and even though the girls kept their distance, the boys seemed to think he was okay.

There was another boy on the bus who David had really noticed though, and he had porcelain skin, and rosey cheeks, and long eyelashes, and pretty hair. He was a pretty boy. Not in the way his Az meant it when he said it though - Dave meant it as in he was a boy who was rather beautiful.

David had heard Finn say hi to the boy. Apparantly, his name was Kurt.
