A\N: Updates will be far and in-between, probably. I've had this idea of a diaboy OC because there's not a lot of them. I don't typically write for male OC's, but I couldn't get this idea out of my head and so here we are. Plus any diaboy with Yui is my fetish. Chapters will be short (probably 500 words or so) and interconnected. Probably erratic and everywhere, too. Just a heads up.
Disclaimer: I only own my OC's. Doesn't particularly have a starting point, we just kind of jump in. Enjoy. :)
1; Chance Encounter.
"Disgusting," The dark-haired vampire scoffed under his breath, wiping the vile blood from his mouth with the back of his gloved hand.
The lifeless body of yet another one of his victims fell haphazardly to the ground. Looking down at the body with a frown, he lifted his foot and kicked the offending corpse away from him. Another dud. He wasn't surprised.
"You really shouldn't be so violent with them, Sire."
He didn't have to turn around to know who it was; he had sensed him around the corner already. Crimson orbs faded back to deep blue and with a sigh, he turned around and began to walk back the way he'd come.
"I'm leaving." He stated and without looking back, left the alleyway.
The older brunette smiled politely to the departing back of his Master before glancing down at the human in faux sorrow.
"You poor, unfortunate soul. May your next life be much longer than this one."
Despite having been driven, the young Master did not return directly to the awaiting black Tahoe. He needed time to think, some time for his body to neutralize the foul taste of blood still on his tongue. Out of everything he could have possibly regret about becoming one of the undead, it was that he needed to sustain a certain amount of human blood in his body to function.
While he was sure any other vampire wouldn't have seen a problem with this, being part of the package deal as a vampire, he couldn't quite get his body to adjust to this part of his lifestyle. It wasn't as if the human blood he stole was bad, per se, but he wasn't over the moon to consume it either. It was strange, indeed.
'Curse you, Karlheinz,'
One might call him a terrible excuse for a vampire, fore Shiro was so wrapped up in his thoughts, he hadn't seen the barreling human approaching him until he collided with a soft force that went sprawling on the ground before him as he remained unmoved. The strange floral scent wafted in his face deliciously and that of something more.
"I-I'm so s-sorry!" The young girl stuttered out, wincing as she tried to stand up.
He blinked down at her owlishly, his nose twitching at the scent it picked up. She grimaced before twisting her head to look behind her, worry and what he'd seen too many times in his victims, fear, written clear across her face. Before he could find himself and help her up, she pushed herself up, bowed, and without another word dashed past him.
Her scent, however, lingered long after her silhouette faded from his vision.
