Calypso looked at the sky. "Why must you curse me like this? Zeus! Don't you think I have suffered enough? Haven't I waited on this island long enough?!" She shouted at Zeus. She was in one of her moods again. She randomly got mad or upset for no reason, and she had to take it out on someone. She chose Zeus since he was the one who punished her like this. Surprisingly, Zeus actually responded to her. He came down to the island, startling Calypso. "Yes, you have suffered enough. Erm, we made a promise years ago that all prisoners would be released, and we never released you. There was no need. My fellow Gods have convinced me to let you go into the real world, and experience things on your own." Calypso was so shocked, she could barely speak. "I...I can...leave?" She stammered. Zeus nodded. Calypso called for her wind servants to pack her things. In a few minutes time, Zeus took her to a giant pine tree with a dragon wrapped around it atop a hill. There was a small gate-like entrance with the words Camp Half-Blood written on them. She recognized the name, but she couldn't recall where she had heard it. "Um, why am I here?" She asked. "Just go inside, there are people in there who are dying to see you" Zeus told her, and disappeared. When she walked in she saw lots of teenagers wandering around, fighting, or scaling a climbing wall with real lava. She walked to a place she assumed was the headquarters of this "camp". When she got there, she noticed a man she knew she recognized sitting on the porch. "Dionysus?" She said in shock. "If it isn't Calypso," he said in a bored voice. "I see Zeus freed you from Ogygia." Just then, a centaur came out from the building. "Chiron? You're here too?" Calypso marveled. Chiron smiled warmly at her. "I see our guest has arrived. Zeus has informed me you would be coming. How long have you been here?" He asked. "Only a few minutes, and how come Zeus brought me here? Who is waiting for me?" Chiron and Dionysus exchanged glances. "Follow me." Chiron told her. On the way to, wherever they were going, Chiron told her about the camp. It seemed like a nice place, but she wasn't a demigod. How had she managed to get in? Did she get special permission from Zeus? They finally reached a small cabin-like building in a clearing in the middle of the woods. "This is where you're supposed to be. I'll let you go in and see who's waiting for you." Chiron told her, galloping away. Confused, yet anxious, she opened the door. The first thing she heard was a young teenage boy, cursing over something. When Calypso walked in, he turned, hearing the door squeak. "Calypso!" He yelled and ran up to her, tackling her in a hug. She didn't even care that he was covered in grease from working in the forge, she was just happy to see him. After a few seconds, they faced each other. Leo stared into her beautiful almond eyes as he asked how she got here. "Zeus brought me." She replied simply. "Dang, that means I've been working on this thing for no reason." Leo pouted. Seeing the confused expression on Calypso's face, he continued. "I was working on a device that would be able to find you. After all, I did make a promise I would come save you. I guess now I don't have to." He leaned in for a kiss, and she happily obliged. It was the second kiss they had ever had, and somehow, Calypso knew, that this scrawny, Latino boy, was the one she wanted to be with for the rest of her life, however long that is.
