This is an alternative English version of the song "Brothers" - a duet with Ed and Al. The first part's Ed singing, the second part's Al (although it should be pretty clear by "little brother/big brother" who's singing) until the last verse, which is both. For the repeated verse about their mom, I can see them singing it alone during their own part or together for the verse.

I don't speak Russian, but I tried to stick pretty close to the Russian-English translations of the song that I've seen for this. I hope you enjoy.

Brothers: Ed and Al

.

Little brother, I'm so sorry!

I beg of you to forgive me.

It's forbidden to try to save

someone taken by the grave.

.

I thought that the one who knows life's laws

would help me to find the way to breath,

but I was terribly wrong 'cause

I've learned there is no cure for death.

.

Beautiful Mom, our dear mother!

We loved having each other,

but our efforts to raise you up

would never return you to us.

.

My brother, I'd tempted you

with the happy, shining hope

of returning to our home.

My brother, it's all my fault.

.

Big brother, don't be sad. Don't wilt.

You are not alone in your guilt.

Ahead of us, there is one road -

we will purge the sins from our load.

.

To blame you for this would make no sense.

I do not take any offense.

Our wish was a sin - for me and you

to have more strength than all do.

.

Beautiful Mom, our dear mother!

We loved having each other,

but our efforts to raise you up

would never return you to us.

.

My brother, I was tempted

by the happy, shining hope

of returning to our home,

so, Brother, it's all my fault.

.

Yet how do we move on one bit?

How can we forgive and forget?

It's forbidden to try to save

someone taken by the grave.
