"Well have it your way than!" Scorpius shouted, slamming a door in the flat he shared with Rose.

They'd had another argument that got rather heated about why he was hardly home anymore and Scorpius took it that she wanted him to leave for good. He stomped towards the front door, grabbing the handle to jerk it open, when she stopped him, turning him around quickly. They stared at each other angrily for a few moments, before she slapped him. He narrowed his eyes at her, holding his hand lightly to where she'd slapped him, but he didn't see anything. She glared back at him, turned around and went to their bed room.

At first he was going to turn and leave, but instead he followed her "What was that for?".

"Trying to leave every thing we had." She answered simply from the bed.

"You didn't have to slap me" he said quietly but angrily as he stood in the doorway.

"You would have left if I hadn't." She said, holding a picture frame in her hands.

Scorpius stepped closer to the bed, but couldn't argue. He would've left. She looked down at the picture, and then set it on the bed. It was a picture of them holding hands walking towards the sunset. He sighed and sat on the other side of the bed.

"A-are you cheating on...me?" She asked quietly.

"No." He looked over at her, his expression a bit enraged "you really think I'd do that?"

"I don't know what you'd do, you're never home." She shrugged, and put her head in her hands.

"I have work.." He said lamely as he looked down at his hands. She sighed, stood up and walked into the master bathroom.

He followed her "You stopped me from leaving but you won't talk to me?"

"I don't know what to say to you, where do I go from there?" She said looking at him through the mirror.

"I..I hate this" he said quietly.

"I do too." She looked at herself, made a face and then closed her eyes.

"I prefer it when we fight than like this" he took a step toward her.

"You like us fighting?" She asked.

"At least we care enough to fight when we do."

"What do you mean? When we aren't fighting, we don't care?"

"We care when..well when we're together, like pleasantly. But right now..we aren't even talking really"

"That's masochistic."

He sighed.

"Where do we go from here?"

"I don't know, given that you think I'm masochistic" Scorpius muttered and sat back down on the bed.

"We both are." She groaned, and slid into the empty bath tub.

Scorpius sighed and ran his hand through his hair. She took off her shoes, and turned the water on, soaking her clothes.

"What are you doing?" He asked, walking into the bathroom.

"Getting wet." She said, she went under the water, and emerged with wet hair.

"Fully dressed?"

"Yes. We are wizards." She sighed and looked at the water. He sat on the lid of the toilet beside the bath tub.

She mumbled under her breath, "maybe...should...left"

"What?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Nothing, you wouldn't have liked it." She replied, looking at the water guiltily.

"Tell me" he said seriously.

"Maybe I should have just left you for your sake. It would have been better for you any ways." She said sadly, refusing to make eye contact with him.

He stood up angrily "You've got to be joking!"
