"Mom, are you home!" I said as I walked into my house from my after school job. "Yes, oh by the way, your friend Andrew called, he said that you need to meet him at the park." "Ok, Thank you, oh I have another letter from the principle." I told her. "Another fight, Annalynn, when are you gonna stop this." she asked. "Sorry, you know, ADHD doesn't help this case, er, theses cases." I replied. "I'm heading out." "okay, text me when you're on your way home." she simply said. "Okay." I walked out of my house. I started to call Andrew, then as I dialed and he picked up, this strange shadow figure started staring at me. "Hi, I'll see you there." I said into the phone. I walked as fast as I could. The strange guy kept following me in the shadows. "Take a pic, it'll last longer." I said. I quickly found an officer to tell him that a guy is following me. "Officer, officer, a strange man is following me!" I said loudly. "Ma'am I can't see a man, are you sure you were being followed?" the cop asked. I turned around, but the strange man was gone. "He was right there! I saw him!" I yelled. How could he not see him, he was right there! "I'm sorry, I don't see him." he said, then he muttered, "Jeez, kids these days." and he walked away. I started walking again. I slowly turned around, sure enough, no one was there. Was I imagining things? I'm not crazy. Seriously, I'm not. Even though some people think I am, I'm not. I kept walking. Once again I heard noises behind me. I turned around- nothing. When I started walking again, a man side-stepped out of the bushes in front of me. "Hello Annalynn, how are you today?" I vaguely remembered his face, I tried to remember but I couldn't. "I'm not supposed to talk to strangers" I said. "I'm not a stranger." the man replied. "Really. Then what's your name and how do you know me?" I said. "I'm your father, and, my name is Poseidon." he said. "Creep, my dad died, and your not a god." I screamed. I looked at him, he looked like me in a twisted way. He also looked like Poseidon from the pictures I've seen. That's when I had to make a choice. "Annalynn, will you please come with me?" he asked. Okay, well, not only do I have to make a choice, but now, I have to make a quick choice.
