Sirius opened the door of his little cottage and greeted Remus with a hug.
"Ah, you've found me. You are the first one, after Dumbledore of course." Sirius said. Remus smiled.
"I asked Dumbledore." He admitted.
"Well, it's the safest for now. Come in, I've got some food ready." Sirius said, walking back inside, Remus right behind him.
"You have to tell me about when you were on the run." Remus said.
"Of course." Sirius replied.

So they sat down at the table and started talking. Sirius explained how he escaped and that very soon after went looking for Harry and kept an eye on him.
"As Padfoot then I suppose?" Remus asked.
"Yes, nothing much happened until he blew up his aunt. Remus, you should've seen it. It was hilarious." Sirius grinned.
"I can believe that." Remus smiled.
"And she deserved it. Hadn't Harry blown her up, I would probably had. She was talking how- how James was a drunk and it was there fault because they had gotten in a car crash, probably while he was drunk and- Remus it hurt so much. I know she doesn't know the truth, but- it was not her place to say those things." Sirius explained. Remus rubbed his back.
"I know, Sirius. Harry told me." Remus said. "Talking to him, it's like talking to James. He had that same amount of bravery and willpower and standing up for his friends. He has less a thing for mischief I suppose. But I guess that is Lily shining through. Have you seen his eyes? They're-"
"They're Lily's. I know." Sirius interrupted.
"So you continued following him?" Remus asked.
"Yes, I did. It was a bit harder in Diagonally because it's just a lot of wizards but on Hogwarts was surprisingly easy actually. I did freak Harry out once or twice. Trelawney kept making prediction about his early death and warned about the Grim and he started seeing a black dog here and there, but well, that was me. I think he realised now." Sirius told Remus.
"He was most afraid of the dementors. He told me he heard Lily screaming. When he told me, I felt my heart sunk. His patronus now is Prongs. I taught him how to do it because he really wanted to learn it." Remus said.

"I hope he can come live with me. Dumbledore said until he is 17 he can't but what does he have to say? I can't have him live with those muggles. After all he has been through, he deserves a good home!" Sirius yelled, slamming his fist on the table in anger.
"Let's say this. We try to take care of him, even just for James and Lily. And if one of us dies-" Remus was interrupted.
"Don't say that, no one is dying." Sirius said, he couldn't stand hearing miserable things now that he was finally hoping for a good ending.
"Just to be sure, that the other will continue, to his best extend to help him and give him a home." Remus finished. Sirius nodded but looked moody.
"What if both of us die?" he said. There was a minute of silence.
"Molly." They both said at the same time.
"I do trust her to give Harry a home. She wouldn't only do it for James and Lily, but just for the sake of him. She cares for him though she was never asked." Remus said.
"Now that settles, I will have an even better night's sleep." Sirius said and got up.
"I suppose you are tired from traveling?" Sirius said. Remus nodded. Sirius walked to the bedroom and Remus quickly laid down.
"I've got cold feet." Remus shivered. Sirius smiled like this wasn't the first time Remus made that comment. Two seconds later a dog was in Sirius's place. He jumped on the bed and curled up at Remus's feet. They fell asleep quickly.
