This is a Beck and Jade story, before they got together. I am a new writer so… yea, enjoy.
BECK'S P.O.V.
I just moved to L.A a few months ago from Canada and now I attend Hollywood Arts High School. I made a couple friends already and met a few interesting people. I'm not sure if it's a good or bad interesting yet though.
I was in study hall with Andre and Robbie thinking about this girl Jade I meet the other day. I know that she is one of the good interesting's. She's at least something else. She isn't like other girls. She wears all black and didn't seem to care in any of the classes I had with her. I was thinking of getting to know her a little better tomorrow, since I didn't have any other classes with her for the day. I had it all planned out in my head.
'Hey Jade...'
'Hi! Beck right?'
'Yea. So, I've been going here for a few months now and I was wondering... well... do you want to, I don't know, hang out sometime after school?'
'Sure! I'd love to! How about after school?' Yes! I got a date with 'the' Jade West!
'Beck...? Beck... BECK!'
That's when I was snapped out of my day dream. God, I wish it wasn't a dream. Andre was looking at me weird and waving his hand in front of my face.
"Yeah, Sorry, I was just... thinking about someone."
"Really? Who?" Robbie asked me.
"Um... No one." I didn't want either of them to know who I was thinking about. They would just laugh at me, or think I was crazy.
"Come on man. Just tell us." Andre tried to reason.
"No, you guys would think I'm crazy."
"Why would we think that?" Robbie asked. "It's not like it's Jade West." I looked down and Andre started catching on.
"Um... Rob..." Andre pulled him over and whispered something to Robbie.
"Oh...OH!"
"Yeah... See, I new you guys would act like this if I told you." Andre put his hand on my shoulder and started talking.
"No, no man, if you like Jade then we'll try and help you."
"What do you mean?"
"We mean, we'll try and help you two together. I mean, it's not like she's dating anyone. She scares away anyone that tries and talks to her except Cat."
"Dude!" Andre said. "Your not helping!"
"Sorry, but it's true. Liking Jade is going to be hard. She's not easy." I shrugged my shoulders.
"That's okay. Easy's boring."
NEXT DAY
I came into Hollywood Arts and I immediately saw Jade at her locker talking to her, I assume, best friend Cat. I saw her roll her eyes and play with her nails as Cat rambled on and on about something she clearly wasn't interested in. I was planning on talking to her today but I had to make sure Cat wasn't around first. I texted Robbie and asked him if at lunch he could distract Cat while I talked to Jade, if she doesn't ignore me. Hopefully.
JADE'S P.O.V.
I saw this guy Beck staring at me this morning while I ignored one of Cat's crazy stories. I kinda, maybe have a crush on this guy, don't tell anyone! No one can know! I'm Jade freaking West, I can't like anyone, that's just not me. I don't know what's happening, I have never and I mean never, liked anyone before. It's even hard for me to like Cat as a friend, she's basically a pet. I'm going to have to actually meet this guy now. The hard part is going to be getting rid of Cat for a while...
I have a couple of things in mind for the rest of this story, but I have homework to do now... I'll be back later... hope you liked the first part!
