For Noodle the Albino Python. First in a series of exactly-100-word chapters, detailing the relationship between Bellatrix and Voldemort.

It started when she was eleven, a freshly-Sorted Slytherin, standing there in the Slytherin Common Room as their Head of House lectured them on what being Slytherin meant – a prim-and-proper Pureblood princess to anyone around her, but just an excited and exhilarated little girl behind the violet eyes half-lidded just so. Away from home, away from her familiar figures of authority – power – and with her only role model unavailable, her nature sought, yearned for, needed a new figure to follow, admire and emulate. She was lost once Slughorn honoured the highest-scoring student ever, Tom Riddle.

Yes, I know that the Death Eaters did not know that Voldemort was actually Tom Riddle. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing.

Also, the story is 100 words if you count, say, 'prim-and-proper' as three words. I do. FFnet doesn't. More derp it.
