Where are your parents Dad?
A small green eyed, black haired Albus Severus Potter looked around the Great Hall, Hogwarts at all of the happy families and frowned. Headmistress McGonagall had done something new this year. She'd organised a family day, where your whole family could come and see Hogwarts, or have a picnic, or even chat to the teachers. James Sirius Potter had invited his family, since he was the only Potter in Hogwarts at the moment.
Most of the families had two sets of grandparents, two parents and a few brothers or sisters. But Albus scanned his family, and only saw one set of grandparents. Grandpa Arthur and Grandma Molly. They were Mum's parents. So where were Dad's?
"Daddy?" Albus turned to his father, the famous Harry James Potter.
"Yeah, Al?" Harry replied, grinning at some of James exploits at Hogwarts that James was dramatically re-enacting.
"Why aren't your Mummy and Daddy here?" He asked, getting a crease showing between his black eyebrows as he frowned.
Harry paled and wondered wether he should tell Albus or not. His emerald eyes met with Ginny's chocolate ones, and she nodded slightly, giving him an encouraging look.
"Well, um... They went away. To Heaven. To live with the big guy. God." Harry told little Albus.
Albus chewed on his lip as he thought about this new piece of information. If Grandma and Grandpa had gone to Heaven, would Daddy go too?
"Are you gonna go away Daddy?" He asked worriedly.
Harry shook his head. "No. Because I've got 4 little cubs to worry about. And I love you very much, so I definitely wouldn't leave." He said with a small smile.
"But who's to say you won't? When did your Mummy and Daddy leave, huh?" Albus demanded. Harry knelt down and wrapped his muscular arms around Albus' tiny frame.
"We'll never leave Al. We love you too much. Plus we need to be able to receive the owls from Minerva about your brother." Harry whispered. Albus finally smiled.
"I love you Dad."
"I love you too Al."
