HIS EYES
She didn't know why she had felt this way around him, she just did. She always wondered when the feelings for him had started to develop. But how could she like him when they hated each other, right? They were always fighting. He would call her mudblood, and she would retort with ferret. That's the way it was, and that was the way it should have stayed.
But no, she had to notice those rock hard abs, muscular arms, and his silver-blonde hair that fell just right over his eyes.
But that was the answer to all her questions, his eyes. That was what caught her attention the most. She could stare into those eyes for hours, if need be. They held such intensity that it scared her, yet fascinated her to no end.
And she would always ask herself exactly why she had said yes when he had asked her out. And her answer would always be the same. It was his eyes, because the moment he asked her out, she looked into his eyes and saw all the love he had for her. She had never seen someone look at her with that look in their eyes, and he was the last person she would have expected to look at her that way. So naturally she said yes.
She knew it was not a mistake, and when he asked her to marry him, she knew she would say yes. Which she did. She knew she wanted nothing more than to live with him for the rest of her life, so that anytime she wanted she could look into his eyes.
And five years later, she couldn't have been happier. Baby number three was on its way, and her children always kept her busy. She also loved waking up next to her husband, and getting to see his eyes filled with the happiness that had been denied during his childhood.
Yes, Hermione Granger, now Malfoy, had never felt happier in her whole life. She had what she had wanted, a family, a husband that supported, encouraged, and challenged her to do things she never felt she could accomplish in life. But what made Hermione happiest was always having a chance to look into her husband's gray eyes, that would always captivate her with one look.
AN: I was wondering whether or not to write a story about how they get together and their life together. If you would like that tell me. I kinda started on it already, though I may abandon it.
