The sun shone through the window, covering Xiang with light. He blinked a few times and turned towards the clock. He sighed when he saw that it was almost 11:00, he was always a late riser. A heavenly scent filled the air from the kitchen and his mouth watered. Xiang slowly got up and headed out into the hallway. When he reached the kitchen he was greeted with the pleasant sight of pancakes, bacon, and, of course, lingonberry juice. He turned to Emil, who was still laying everything out.
"Do you have to drink that at every meal?" Xiang asked as he sat down and started to load his plate up with food.
"S-shut up," Emil blushed and sat down across from him, "I should at least get a thank you! You should be grateful that I even made you food!" Xiang merely smiled in response and continued to eat his breakfast. They mostly ate in silence, chatting every once in a while about this and that. This was how they spent their mornings. Sometimes they would head out and enjoy a day at the park, sometimes they would stay home and cuddle, sometimes they would watch some cheesy horror movie. Xiang was fine with anything, as long as he was with Emil, as long as they were together.
"Hey Emil?"
"Hm?"
"I love you."
"I love you, too."
