Curse
You called me a curse.
But what I called you is unrepeatable.
Your words rip into me,
Tear at me,
Bring me to my knees
Until I lie dying
Inside.
The only thought that keeps me awake,
That keeps me hoping
Is the belief that one day
You'll lose me and realise that you lost
Everything.
Everything that was remotely human
In me.
Your words,
They turned me insane.
They turned me into what I am now.
You called me a curse, a demon.
Perhaps at first I wasn't one
But now,
Because of you,
I am.
Welcome your curse,
Mother.
You made me.
I wrote this thinking about Arson, and the fights he has with his mother. More to come later, in the sequel to Into The Flames. Also, considering I'm very pissed off, I thought it felt right to post this. This was entered into 's competition, I was a semi-finalist.
