Jimmy is in his room, thinking about today. He and Thomas had been talking a lot, practically the whole time ever since they became friends. But today, Jimmy kept his eyes locked on the underbutler's lips with a strong desire to hold his head. It's been like that nearly all the time and there was nothing he could do to stop his head buzzing with happiness everytime he saw Thomas.
Suddenly, Jimmy opened the door and walked towards Thomas' room. Quietly he put his ear against the door, no sound came from the other side. He slowly opened the door and saw Thomas lying asleep in his bed. Closing the door behind him, Jimmy couldn't keep his eyes of the myn he so desperatly loved. This was the night, the night where they would accept each other.
Jimmy remembers the first time Thomas kissed him. He knew it was him and wanted to hold on to him but of course Alfred had to ruin their moment that could never happen again. Oh, how Jimmy wished he had kissed after he got injured. Now, Jimmy was going to give him a proper thank you for helping him, saving him and kissing him.
Sitting on the edge of his bed, he looked at Thomas' chest slowly rising and falling. Jimmy put one hand on the underbutler's cheek and the other on the other side of the bed. Putting his head closer to the other, Jimmy carressed Thomas' cheek and finally when his head was close enough, he put his lips on Thomas' and nothing mattered anymore. No one could stop him, no one could seperate him from the man he loved for so long, ever since his first at Downton.
Thomas' body stiffened under the younger man's. He had no idea it ws Jimmy although secretly he hoped it was him. Finall he slipped his arms around Jimmy's who let out a groan of longing. He opened his mouth as Thomas licked his lips with tongue. Thomas pulled Jimmy onto the bed and they lay there for so long, it felt like years for them.
When they broke apart, Jimmy whispered"I love you." in Thomas ear and laid his head on the older man's chest who carressed his hair repeatedly. It felt do wonderful for both of them to lie there, where no one can disturb them ever again.
They spent the next few hours kissing, holding hands, caressing each other, hugging like lovers do. Finally Thomas told Jimmy it was time to go to bed. Reluctantly, Jimmy got up, gave Thomas one last long kiss and got out of the room. He was so happy, they both were and even thoughit would be dangerous for them to be together, they would never be able to seperate them soully and emotionally.
Thomas went back to sleep, thanking deep down o' Brien, who was right after all. But he wasn't planning on telling her that, she wanted Thomas to leave with a broken heart. He would never talk to her about his love life again, only to Jimmy who was his life, now and for ever.
Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
