' I walked over towards Jauffre and looked him in the eyes. He looked back at me and pointed towards Bruma. "Cloud Ruler Temple is on the side of a mountain in that direction.

We will be headed there." I mounted my horse and followed him.' Jeniran Interrupted- "Were you a Blade yet, grandpa?" The man replied- "No not yet dear… please allow me to continue my story." Jeniran became quiet- "Yes grandpa." ' As we passed Bleaker's Way, an old town in the Heartlands, a man came stumbling along the road towards us. I went up to him and said- "Ho there! Old Man! What are you doing out here at such a late hour?" He stumbled on a rock and fell. Jauffre and I dismounted from our horses, and went over to the man.' "What was he doing outside so late grandpa?" Asked Jeniran "Listen closely and you'll find out" Replied the man to his granddaughter. 'I bent down and helped the man up. He seemed quite drunk. Probably with skooma. "What should we do with him, Jauffre?" I asked him. "What else can we do but take him with us?". So, with Jauffre's help, we loaded the man onto the back of my horse. Once he was on the horse, we continued on our way. We were just passing Toad Stool Hollow, a cave outside of Bruma, as out from the brush, an orc jumped. He landed directly in front of my horse, in a way that forced my to stop my horse very suddenly- tossing the drunk man from the back of my horse. The man flew threw the air and landed on the cobble stoned ground in front of the orc. The orc jumped him and bit him on the neck. The orc was obviously a vampire. I jumped off of my horse and drew my katana. The vampire stopped it's gruesome feast and turned it's attention to me. What a savage! The vampire hissed evilly, and rushed towards me. He jumped at me, but I was to quick for him- I shoved my sword through it's heart, and it fell down to earth, dead.' The man looked at the girl- she was sleeping on the bedroll laid out on the floor. He picked her up and took her into another room. He then, carefully, laid her down on his large bed, and covered her with a blanket.

"Perhaps we can continue the story tomorrow…" He said softly, and left the room.

To Be Continued…
