The gate...

"What's with that transmutation circle?"

The secrets it holds are as immense and mysterious as the universe itself.

"It's my own transmutation circle! I worked hard on it!"

Yet, people keep trying to unravel these mysteries; they try to go against the flow, against the world, against god, against me.

"Let's activate it!" "What! No! What if it turns us into chimeras!" "It won't! I promise!"

Humans are such interesting creatures.

"…And we will use some batteries? Think that will be enough to use a science that has never worked in our world for centuries?" A young teen asked, raising an eyebrow. She had black, wavy hair that reached her hips, and dark brown eyes.

"Yes! If not, we can use these magnets!" She said eagerly with bright brown eyes. She didn't seem older than the two girls in the room; she had tanned skin, and messy brown hair which reached little past her shoulders.

"You are crazy, Fo!" The third girl said. Like the other two, she wasn't very tall, and had her hear pulled back in a neat ponytail.

"And proud!" Fo answered with an evil smirk. "Even if it doesn't work, it can't harm us, right?" She, like the other two girls in the room, was great fans of FullMetal alchemist. And when boredom was mixed with some chalk and a transmutation array…

"Ok, but if it doesn't work, you'll owe me a pocky box!" The girl with long hair said.

"You know I have no money… but ok, TLAA-chan!"

The three girls pressed their hands again the neatly drawn array in the floor.

"One… two… now!" They pressed harder…

…and nothing happened.

Fo pouted. "You owe me pocky!" TLAA said triumphantly, but before her friend could answer, the transmutation array started shining an electric blue, sparks coming out of it.

"What the-" "What's going on!" "Kyaa!"

The brightness soon covered the whole room, and when it finally cleared, there was nothing but two useless batteries left on the floor.
