AN: So this is just a little something that I have been rolling around with for a while. So I know that its a bit early for Christmas but I couldn't resist. This should be AU but I haven't decided. I really hope there are some Tig/Venus fans out there! Enjoy and let me know what you think. -JaneDoee.

"Is she pretty?" Four year old Emily Trager stood on her mothers bed, pestering her with questions of their guest's. The little girls Grandmother would say it was payback for the questions her own daughter would ask nonstop.

Grinning the mother shrugged. "I haven't met her yet sweetheart...but I bet she's a knockout."

That was a lie, of course Tig had introduced her to the Southern woman who stole his heart. At least that's what she was told. The three adults had a very awkward dinner at Tigs apartment where they made small talk and tried not to address the fact that Venus was a man, not a woman. It went well enough for them to all make plans of spending Christmas together, much to Emily's enjoyment. Mommy and Daddy plus a special guest. It was too good to be true.

"When will they be here? They have to get here soon right?" The blue eyed girl started to jump on the bed, her purple skirt mushroomed as she landed. The look of excitement on her face reminded the mother of Tig. So much energy.

Melanie rubbed a hand over her expanding belly. It was her second pregnancy by Trager and she was thrilled. "He'll get here when he gets here."

"But he's always late Mommy. What if he got lost?" For such a little girl she sounded grown up. Pulling her to her side Mel brushed her daughters Chestnut colored curls from her face. It was the only thing that the girl had gotten from her mother.

"I know baby...I know." Shimmying her pregnant body off the bed, she smiled. "Wanna get the decorations out? We could get it all sorted?"

Nodding Emily took the outstretched hand and walked down the stairs. For a while it had just been the two of them. But Tig got out and he had a sudden intrest in them. It was like someone had lit a fire under his ass. Whatever happened it resulted in a unplanned pregnancy and a relationship that could only be friendship. Now there was Venus, God only knows how that would work out. But Melanie could care less, she only had one goal in mind. Make it through Christmas alive.

Thirty minutes later Melanie and Emily sat on the hardwood floors of the cabin, Adventure Time on TV and decorations surrounding them both. It looked like a battle field, the victims being elves, Santa and Reindeer with tinsel all around.

The Christmas Cabin was only a spur of the moment decision. It was the result of a mother wanting to see the look on her daughters face when she saw snow for the first time. A cabin in Colorado seemed like the perfect choice. So here they were ready for Three weeks of Christmas and New Years. Only trips for food would be taken unless it all ended badly. That was a possibility.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Melanie and Emily admired the real tree that they had gotten last night. It was the first real tree they had ever had. Only cheap Wal-Mart trees for their Christmas past.

Emily scrunched her nose up, "It smells weird."

"It smells good!" Laughing the two gig wrapped up in their little wonderland with hundred watt smiles.

Never did they hear the truck pulling up, car doors slamming or the nervous laughter that passes between to nervous adults. Only the sound of knocking on the door alerted them to their anticipated guests.
