He was her weakness.

The slightest touch of his fingers shattered a part of her soul. No matter how many times she tried not to cry, the pain was still coexisting in this world. The real Jellal she knew from when she was younger was gone. The way he lied to her was rather noticeable but he was still hinting to her that she was still important to him.

Maybe she could try to get used to this new Jellal, who claimed that he has changed his ways. But even now she couldn't get close to him. The evil was gone, the battle was over between them, and he was starting a new life; so why were these times still difficult?

The darkness settled in deeper into her heart and there a giant glass barrier stood between the pair. They were both off onto their own paths, possibly they might encounter one another in the future but it was not guaranteed. Yet even so, the scarlet held no regrets and she knew that he wouldn't forget about her.

Right?

Unless that was his shadow walking further ahead of her and leaving her behind once again. Was he going to say anything more? Was he just going to abandon her to go with Meredy and Ultear to a faroff dream? The darkness swirled around this time and all of the memories of the trio started to become hazy.

What was this?

And so she struggled, struggled to release herself from the nightmare because she knew it wasn't true. Erza knew that Jellal was still stuck in jail because of his actions from previous years ago. It wasn't true at all because she knew that if he went with Ultear again then disaster would strike, right? She was Titania, for pete's sake. This was absolute bullshit magic placed upon her by some rookie wizard that screwed up. Yeah, that's what it was.

Erza broke free from the neverending battle with the darkness she faced in her heart. She awoke from her seven year sleep and stared into the eyes of her beloved guildmates. It was all a dream, none of it was true because it never happened in the first place. Staring up at her friends, she noticed that her breathing was real. The sun, sky, and the ground was real. They had survived?

However, she didn't know that her dream was also real. The last seven years did a lot for everyone including her own guild. It was the perfect premonition and pandemonium.

And it was all going to come true.

a/n: This is my first FT fanfic or so, it's only a mere oneshot. It's just my take on what would be a cool thing to happen in the manga or so. I was really bored and thought a lot about the seven year gap and dreams. They were basically asleep, right? Well, you have dreams in your sleep so I thought: What if Erza had a dream of the future? Of course, the future involves Jellal and the rest of the Crime Sorciere. However, she denies that any of it happened because it's only a dream but little does she know...

it will happen eventually.
