Standing Still

Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, the cover photo, or Attack On Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin.

Summary: Girl finds a way to strive through the chaos of Titans, and a war torn era with little to no memories regarding where she came from.

Prologue

Year 844

The air around him picked up as he sprang from tree to tree at an inhuman speed, dodging the hands of the beast that wished to swallow him whole. Though, they'd have no luck today. Peering over his shoulder he counted five Titans and stared blankly at them for the briefest of moments. Sighing in annoyance, he enacted the 3D gear and used the nearest tree to abruptly change directions. The gear allowed him to fly pass the five Titans with ease, in turn leaving him to have a clear view of their napes. Before the group of Titans could catch on to where he had gone, he made quick work of slashing their napes from left to right. As the Titans fell to the ground unceremoniously, he perched himself high up on a branch to observe their bodies disappearing into thin air. When there was nothing left of the bastards, he wiped off his blades once more, and wasn't surprised when he heard the sound of his subordinates arguing in the distance as they closed in on him.

A rowdy bunch they were.

Upon arrival, his four- no three subordinates were panting. He stood their on his branch opposite to them with a bored expression on his face, silently motioning for them to speak while simultaneously wondering what their explanation was for their missing female teammate.

"Corporal Levi, we found something that you should see." Eld said in a serious tone.

At this Levi perked up slightly wondering what his team was going on about. "What is it?" He asked.

Gunther answered without missing a beat. "A girl, with pink hair. She's unconscious a couple hundred yards away from here."

"Petra's watching over her body. I tried to-" Oluo was cut off by Levi waving his hand. Straightening himself up, Levi nodded towards his three men to show him the way. On the way there he did something that he didn't do often; he let his mind wander. Why would there be a woman in the middle of the Titan forest, unconscious at that? And pink hair? Never in his life had he seen nor heard of someone with pink hair. He then briefly wondered if his team was playing a prank on him. He can remember hearing stories from Henge, Erwin, and Mike about how their squad would mess around with them to lighten the mood occasionally. Though he hoped that his squad wasn't up to anything fishy because in particular, he wanted nothing more than a bath and a good night's rest. Nonetheless, he continued to blindly follow his squad, interested in the woman that had managed to not be eaten while taking a nap in the middle of a forest that was filled with man-eating bastards; as he liked to refer to them as.

"We're here captain." Eld said causing Levi to snap from his musings. Levi came to an abrupt stop just seconds later and the slight widening of his eyes couldn't be helped. Before him sat a crater in the earth, at least fifty feet wide, Petra in the middle, squatting down next to a laying down figure. He dropped down to the ground alongside Oluo, Gunther, Eld, and jogged down the slope till he reached the middle.

He walked up to the girl, knelt before her, analyzing her under his scrutinizing gaze.

The girl was laying down with her hands by her side, eyes closed, lips slightly parted, long petal pink hair splayed about. She was covered in dirt, bruises, and scratches. But the first thing that really caught his attention was the purple rhombus on her forehead. The next being the foreign look to her. She had pale skin, pink hair, and strange clothes. In fact, she was wearing black sandals that reached her knees, exposing her toes, thick black gloves, pale pink sleeves of fabric that covered her elbows, and some kind of maroon/red dress with white lining along with a black waistband thing that nor Levi or any of his team seemed to recognize. Levi sat there a little longer wondering what he was supposed to do with the woman because she obviously was not from around here. Hell, she looked like she was from a whole other world all together. Though, the more pressing matter was the crater that she had managed to create in the ground… or did she?

Levi sighed then proceeded to ground his teeth in annoyance feeling that her mere presence was going to put a dent in his scheduled bath time tonight.

"She's so pretty…" Petra murmured softly as she continued to stare at the girl. Levi turned to her and wondered why that was what his female subordinate was thinking about at a time like this.

Oluo snorted. "Yeah if you're attracted to lollipops."

Eld shook his head and Gunther elbowed him in the stomach.

Petra smiled softly at their antics. "I was just making an observation…" She trailed off and wiggled her eyebrows suggestively. "And say, Oluo… what if I'm attracted to lollipops?"

The boys paused then raised their eyebrows. Her comment couldn't go unnoticed and it left Oluo asking: "Wait, you swing that way?"

Petra giggled then shoved Oluo, making him lose his balance briefly. "Not as of lately." Her reply brought up more questions. This caused her to sigh inwardly and acknowledge how gullible her boys were.

While his team was discussing Petra's bedroom preferences, Levi came to the conclusion that he couldn't just leave the girl in the middle of the forest, a dangerous one at that. He just hoped that the decision of taking her back to the Survey Corps base wouldn't be a mistake.

"We're going to take her back with us." Levi stated, leaving no reason to argue, not that any of his subordinates would ever dare testify against his judgement.

"Wait! There's this, I don't know if it means anything but I found it a couple feet away from her earlier." Petra said as she pulled what looked like a forehead protector of sorts out of her pocket. Levi disregarded the fact that Petra should have given the protector thing to him earlier, and took it out of her hand to inspect it in his. It was a thick red cloth with a strip of metal. The metal part of the headband had a symbol then a slash through it. Sighing again, Levi shoved the item into his pocket -not having the energy to guess what the symbol meant- and whistled for the horses.

Moments later the horses arrived. Levi walked over to the girl, scooped her up bridal style and was surprised that she didn't wake at the action. While he was careful not to do so, the transition from the ground, someone's arms, then onto a horse by no means was a delicate one.

When she was positioned on the horse in front of him, he immediately came to the conclusion that he wasn't a fan of her leaning so far into him. Though, he supposed that it couldn't be helped seeing as that she was unconscious.

As Levi and his team set off for headquarters he inwardly sighed when he caught sight of the setting sun, meaning that he'd have to reschedule his bath for another day.

Note: I spent working the last year writing this story and as of right now, excluding this prologue has 100k words (meaning that there will be weekly updates). I'm sorta proud of myself, though, at the same time I probably should've spent the better part of Senior year of High school doing something more productive than writing a fan fiction about my two favorite anime characters. AnY-wHo, this story will follow canon in for the most-ish part but it will steer off course when it comes to Levi x Sakura (Duh). Along with snk being tweaked, Naruto will be an AU as well; however the Naruto verse won't appear until a later date.

Something Random: I love Levi's team so fucking much! Their dynamic, Petra's light heart, Oluo's cocky bastard complex, Gunther's peacemaker skills, Eld's sit-back-and-watch-the-show attitude, and Levi's stoicism. I know that other people might not presvice them in that way but it's the way I do, and I'm sorry if it's kinda ooc.

Also, this is my first crossover story and I encourage constructive criticism, and such. Though, please no hate. Not only is it rude, it's a waste of time and quite frankly unreasonable like damn, OKAY guest! (If you're a writer on here then you know what I mean lol). Shit I'm rambling, thank you so much for reading! If you like this story and the rare paring or the way I write then I have other stories if ya wanna check em out!

Thanks again, leave a review if you'd like and if not then have a fantastic morning, afternoon, or evening!

Peace Out!
