The Wedding

Disclaimer: I don't own Full Metal Alchemist.

A/N- This is the shortest this I've ever written, Enjoy

It was one of the most beautiful ceremonies Edward has ever been to so far. Everybody seemed to be having a wonderful time and Ed couldn't find one person without a smile on their face. One thing that seemed to be bothering him throughout the wedding, though, was the empty row of seats at the front. When he approached Alphonse on the matter, the newlywed smiled and said, "They're not empty, Ed. Each seat is for each of the souls that couldn't be here. See, that's where Mom and Dad are sitting. I put them together because I know that they'll only be at their happiest if they're next to each other. I can imagine Mom crying tears of joy right now, and dad comforting her, like he always does. And next to them – here – is Mister Hughes. I wanted to put him next to Gracia and Elysia, but I'm sure that he would have wanted front row seats to take pictures. Then I put Teacher next to Mom. I always thought that they would get along and Teacher always said that she'd always wanted to meet Mom, remember? And then next to Teacher is Mr. and Mrs. Rockbell and right there – next to Mister Hughes – is Nina. I hoped that they liked the wedding." Alphonse sent the empty row a large grin and walked away, leaving Ed to marvel at how his brother always manages to amaze him.
