Makorra Drabbles!

Chapter 1: Note

"Mako?" Korra called out, opening the door of their apartment. "Are you home yet?"

The Avatar then looked down at the coffee table, seeing a note left by her boyfriend.

Korra- Went out for a bit, had to get some stuff.

See you soon love.

She then smiled to herself, going into the laundry room to get the clothes from the dryer. As she had just finished putting the laundry away and was now lying in bed, Mako came in.

"Hey." He said quietly, kissing his girlfriend's forehead.

"Hiya." Korra said, opening her eyes.

"So whatcha doing?" The firebender was trying to make small talk while dinner was cooking.

Korra shrugged, looking up at him. "I smell seaweed noodles, and you never make seaweed noodles unless you want something Mako…." She said, a blush appearing on her cheeks.

He then rubbed the back of his neck nervously. 'Dammit. Better come up with something quick.' "Well I just thought that maybe we could have water tribe food…because um.. I figured you would be in the mood for it, especially since you haven't been home since that incident with your uncle…." That was definitely notthe reason he made the noodles.

"Right…" Korra raised an eyebrow at him, getting out of bed and going into the kitchen. As she left the room Mako let out a sigh before following after.

The couple ate their dinner and Mako took a sip of water. "Korra you were right…I did want something."

Korra then choked on her water, her face flushing. "What is it?"

The firebender got up, walked around the table, and knelt down. "Will you marry me?" He took out a betrothal necklace that he had made himself, with the guidance and permission of Tonrauq of course. The necklace was made of dark red satin and the stone made of a silver stone with a carving of the moon and water. Mako then awaited her answer.
