Don't own…blah blah blah…you know it…I know this isn't long, it isn't MEANT to be. It's just a random ficlet. That in mind, happy reading : )

He fought...furiously. Like someone with nothing left to lose...and he did it all with a pair of Keyblades that came really close to Riku. He'd always been faster than most, so to have someone so close to speed with him was tensing him. Whoever it was the size of a teenager, but he couldn't be sure of that- after all, he had his hood pulled up over his face.

He could tell it was a he because of the battle cries, they came once in a while. He didn't scream out all the time he was hit but was loud enough to be discerned male in Riku's book.

He had no idea why the blades, though. He knew of the former Master Yen Sid, Mickey, Sora, and himself…no one else…that had Keyblades. But for now, he shook it off. Namine needed this guy….Roxas….to complete Sora. So, he'd have to fight him.

And they did. Riku was actually losing for a bit, but managed a powerful enough hit to send the smaller Nobody flying, sprawling on his back on the ground. And, miracle of miracles, he was staying down. Maybe he'd just needed to be worn down, then he'd crash on his own?

But as Riku walked closer to him, and the figure on the ground became clearer and easier to see- especially his face, because the hood had slipped during his flight- it became obvious why the Keyblade was his weapon.

After all, he looked almost like Sora- short of hair color, and maybe his eyes were a little lighter. But it was there.

Speaking of eyes, they were snapping open again, pure hate in them. Apparently, wearing him down wasn't the way to go. He was tiring down, but Roxas was just…mad enough that he was raging.

Riku, still not quite believing this was his friends' nobody, taunted it…"c'mon, Sora? You giving up already?"

He didn't like being anyone's Nobody. He let out a wild yell declaring that, 'I am me', before raging full on. Riku doesn't want to lose, he knew Roxas was needed by Namine, but ended up failing at first anyways.

His next attack is brutal, swift, and dark, though. Roxas' swords clatter to the ground as he fights for his life, trying to get out of the giant fist that clutches him.

It takes a little while, but eventually he sags within the grip leaving Riku to stare once more.

"He really believed he was somebody…"
