Hunting Season (A HABIT/ EverymanHYBRID one shot)

HABIT rotated his neck slowly, grinning. His knife glowing silver as the dark starlight hit it. The moon was gone, as dark as his heart, so the light of the stars was the only thing to guide HABIT's steps. (Well besides the street lamp his prey was standing under) He grinned slightly, just the other day he had eaten, but he was just sooo hungry. He just wanted to kill, he wanted to hurt.

And he wanted to eat.

HABIT felt something inside of him quiver, and if he wasn't hunting, he would of laughed. Crooning at the small prisoner in his head. He asked; 'You want to get out little RABBIT? You don't want to feed today?' HABIT paused, there was no answer from Evan. There never really was. Evan would always force himself into slight unconsciousness, but he'd remember when he woke him up.

HABIT was going to make sure of it.

'Well too bad. I'm a hungry little monster. And lady flesh is the best. Ooh Steph tasted good Evan. You were there. Don't you remember how sweet she was?' HABIT let out a soft, forced, chuckle. Making sure his prey wouldn't hear as he slowly continued his approach.

The bitch was on her phone, the nerve! Not even paying attention to her surroundings. HABIT scoffed slightly, 'Humans...' he thought, 'Are such ignorant fucking creatures,' HABIT was maybe three feet behind her, and the dumb whore didn't even notice his presence. She hung up the phone. Sighing exasperatedly before suddenly...

Her breath was stopped in her throat, HABITs hand covering her mouth for any late screams. But there were none. He swiftly pulled the knife from her back. It wasn't a death blow, but it was enough to make her unconscious so he could play with her later.

He felt Evan shiver in his head, as he always did when HABIT killed a person. HABIT let out a laugh, the one he'd been holding in, and licked the blood off his knife.

"Come out, come out little RABBITs," He crooned, laughing once more. And looking around, his arms spread out like an eagle. "Hunting seasons fucking begun bitches, and boy is it going to be a good one!" He laughed again, bordering hysterical, before picking up the woman and disappearing into the woods.
