I missed him. I really do. It had been almost a year since he last disappeared from my life, from the hokage's life and those shrieking fangirls who still followed him everywhere even though he had a girlfriend at that time already. Me, Fuuko Kirisawa. Opponent and enemy of those fangirls who just wanted to jump down my throat and make me suffer for taking 'their' Mikagami away from them. Some claimed i stole him. Nonsense. It had been almost a year and i, Fuuko Kirisawa missed him badly. I still do even though almost a year had passed.
Where are you, Mikagami Tokiya?
" Fuuko?"
A woman's voice rang though the air, reaching her ears and the sound of pen scribbling on paper died away as she dropped the pen onto the table, stood up and stretched. Walking out of her room, she went down the stairs, her feet making not a single sound as she ran slowly down the stairs lightly, her brown hair flying behind her.
-----------
Fuuko Kirisawa, aged seventeen, stared out of the window of her room, her green orbs staring up into raven black skies dotted with twinkling stars. Sighing, she tried to remember what Mikagami had told her the last time they had stared up into a sky like this.
Fuuko, look at those stars. Constellations, there are stories behind them.
She had shrugged and tried to focus on what her boyfriend was saying as her attention slowly drifted away.
Stories? She had muttered, not knowing what she was saying.
Are you even listening? Mikagami's stern voice broke into her thoughts soon after as she looked at him with her large green eyes and tried to feign innocence. Of course i'm listening. She had protested and Mikagami continued with that silky voice of his.
Let me tell you a story. Sleeping beauty?
No way, it's always Sleeping Beauty. Grandmother's always telling me that story whenever i go to bed in the past.
Listen to me.Okay, there once was this princess called Fuuko.
Fuuko? What sort of sleeping beauty can be called Fuuko? She had demanded and he had replied her with a mischievous light dancing in that icy blue eyes of his.
You.
I am no sleeping beauty. Fuuko had protested again and Mikagami just grinned at her, waiting for her to shut up. However, she rolled her eyes and surrendered, knowing she could not escape from listening to Mikagami's stories. Plus, they were rare, she never get to hear them much.
You still didn't finish the story, did you? Fuuko forced a laugh. Her laugh that had erupted from her throat slowly turned into sobs escaped from her agony.
I missed him!
Tears ran down her face as she tried to conjure up the thing among her emotions to stop her from crying anymore. Her attempt failed. It was the first time she cried since he disappeared. It was all her fault. She knew it. She could not deny the fact that it was she who made him leave. Even the Hokage knew nothing of her role in Mikagami's leaving.
It was because of her that he had left. He thought she didn't love him anymore. He thought ...he thought she loved Raiha. Damn. She treated that thunder guy only as a brother and nothing more and ice boy could not even notice that. What sort of boyfriend would made such a mistake and left before she could even explain?
Still, it was partly her fault. Sighing, she stood up and slumped down the chair by her table.
Stupid Mikagami. She silently cursed. His leaving had caused her agony for so long a time. When would he come back?
She knew it was no use, hoping and wishing for that, for him to come back, to be by her side, supporting her in everything like he did in the past. She wanted what the present had taken from her, what God had taken from her.
