It's a cold and snowy day in the woods outside of Bruma. I have Hircine's ring on to help with today's hunt. As I am transforming into werewolf form, I spot a large white elk. I sprint silent and effortlessly and strike the elk on it's side. Killing it with blunt force trauma, I drag it to the main road and transform back into human form.

I take the elk back into Bruma, heading for the general store, when something catches my eye. A large crystal shining bright in the sunlight on the verge of tipping over into the sewer system. Before it falls I quickly grab it and conceal it in the pocket inside my coat. I make my way into the general store and have the clerk cut the meat into fine pieces, pay him the 50 Septims I owe him and leave. Now I make my daily trek to Chorrol to drop off my meat. When I come back I will stay the night in the Imperial City to see what this gem is.

I start travelling down the Silver Road towards the Imperial City which splits off to the Orange Road towards Chorrol. The Heartlands are a beautiful place to be at this time of day. It is about midmorning on Tirdas. The air is cool and crisp, the kind that feels good running through your nose. County Bruma is an extremely beautiful county. I say it is one of the most beautiful in Cyrodiil, but others say that (although it isn't a county) the Imperial City is the prettiest in the province.

Getting to the fork in the road, I go right onto the Orange Road. The walk now should take about 8 hours. Let's see, it's 2:38 now, I should be in Chorrol at about 10:38. I decide to use my ring to be a werewolf so I can move faster. If I encounter any humans, I'll just hide in the shrubs of the Great Forest.

***8 HOURS LATER***

I have made it to Chorrol and I'm back to human form. My pockets feel a little empty. I reach into the pocket I put the gem in and find nothing. I have lost the mysterious crystal that could have been worth thousands on Septims. I have lost my future.
