Their story...(before they became 'monsters')
"Quinn, Rose!" Their mother yelled "get down here!" Still yelling with an excited voice. They ran down the stairs, costumes still on from playing dress up. Rose had a red flower in her hair and Quinn had a crown with a purple mask. When they got downstairs they rushed into the kitchen. Their mother shouted once more "WE WON THE LOTTERY!" their father was standing next to her a smug and exited look on his face. Mom was dancing around the table.
Over the past few weeks their parents grew far away from them. Even forgetting them. They spent money on expensive luxuries. They eventually ran out of money. Still in a daze about how rich they WERE they remembered they had children. They somehow found a black market ad, a ad that needed children for some sort of experiment. It would give them tones of money.
"Kids we have to go somewhere get in the car!" There father shouted from the living room. They came down, it seemed they still played dress up.
"Papa can we stay in our outfits?" Rose asked kindly.
"Sure whatever." He said replied a hint of coldness tracing his voice.
They arrived at an old hospital, it looked abandoned.
"Get out of the car." Their father said not waiting for them. Pushing his door open he headed for what seemed like the entrance. They both ran after him. A man in at least his 40's was standing on the doorstep.
"Papa what are we doing here?" Quinn asked in a quiet voice. Rose hugged her doll close. Their father didn't reply he simply reached his hand out to take the money from the man. He then sprinted towards his car opening the door leaving the children with the man. The last thing he heard when he drove away were the children's screams. He didn't feel a hint of guilt as he counted the money...
