I really shouldn't be writing this. I should be working on Shadow's Story
and my other long-since-updated fics, but I NEED to write! I have writers
block for everything else _
Disclaimer-If I owned YGO, do you think I'd be writing this fic?
It was a rainy day in Domino, and Yugi was silently watching it through his bedroom window. His puzzle, the millennium puzzle, sat on his desk, glistening eerily from the darkened light coming in through the window.
Yugi sighed, and flopped down onto his bed. It had been only a year or so since he had completed his puzzle, and he had already beaten Pegasus, the creator of duel monsters, Seto Kiaba, the CEO of Kiaba corp., and Marik Ishtar, a tomb keeper for the ancient pharaoh, gone rogue.
Yugi rolled onto his side, and looked at the puzzle tiredly. It was at least two in the morning, but the poor boy couldn't sleep for the life of him. He had this nagging feeling in the back of his mind that he shouldn't be here. That he was in Yami's way.
A tear slide down his face. Was this feeling there for a reason, or was it just paranoia?
He didn't want to be in his Yami's way. He cared for the taller boy, as though he was a brother.
Yugi rolled over again, and stared at the window.
"Yugi?" His darker half murmured, materializing beside his bed.
"Ya Yami?" he muttered.
"kulli Haaga tamaam?" he asked in his native tongue, Arabic.
"Japanese, please, Yami."
"Sorry...is everything okay?"
"kwayyis" Yugi replied.
Yami smiled down at his light. He had taught Yugi a few phrases in Arabic, and he was pleased that Yugi had remembered them.
Yugi rolled over, and looked up at his darker half.
"Yami...Am I...Have I ever been...in your way?" he asked quietly.
"Now, why would even ask such a thing, Yugi?" he replied, sitting on the bed beside his hikari.
"Well," Yugi sat up in his bed, "I just have this feeling that I'm in your way somehow"
Yami snorted, and pulled his lighter half into a hug. "You're my only reason for being here, you could never be in my way." He ruffled Yugi's hair, and smiled.
Yugi looked up at him with a tearful smile. "shukran, Yami-chan" Yugi said, hugging his darker half back.
Short, I know, but it's a one shot quickie that I felt like doing. Oh, and to clear up the language thing:
kulli Haaga tamaam-is everything okay?
kwayyis-fine
shukran-thanks
That is all Arabic, just incase none of you realized from reading the fic. R+R if ya want, I know this was crappy, but I don't care.
