Uhm, is it just me or are my fanfics getting angstier? D"
Anyway, wrote this one after rewatching LotR. It's as inspiring as always. The best thing about angst is the sparkling after it. 3
And HELL NO, I DON'T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN IN THE MANGA! ...that's what fanfiction is here for.
The first one calling "rape" will be SHOT. Ò.ó
Dark.
All he could see was the neverending darkness of the cell they had thrown him in.
Well, at the moment, he even preferred sitting alone in the dark...
Because light only meant more pain... more torture... more desperation... because light meant that they were back.
He wasn't able to guess how long it had been since he landed here... since he had been caught.. since he had left Soul Society...
He knew there was the greatest battle in the history of the Gotei13 going on out there, he knew that it was his friends fighting for the sake of this world, and he couldn't stand the thought of not being able to stand by their side.
He knew he had never been much use, but if only he was free, he would be able to support them and heal their injuries... but he was damned to sit here, in a dark cell somewhere in Las Noches... just to await his death.
At first, he had struggled, tried to fight, tried to flee... but it was useless. Then he had cried, cried for a long time, and now..there was only emptiness left. A great emptiness that could not be filled.
He hadn't spoken a word for weeks, not screamed when they hurt him.. it was like back then in Rukongai, after his mother's death.. before he had met Rikichi-San.. But now, it was even worse. He had never thought he could feel more miserable than back then. But back then, he didn't have all those friends to worry about...
Please, let everyone be alright.. I don't care what happens to me, just let everyone be alright..
He clutched his left arm, it hadn't stopped bleeding since their last visit.
And then suddenly, there was light again - the heavy door slowly opened. Instinctively, he crawled back into the dark and closed his eyes, although he knew he couldn't escape... when he suddenly heard a wonderfully familiar, almost forgotten voice.
"Hanatarou?"
No, it wasn't possible... what would he be doing here?! He just couldn't...
Slowly, Hanatarou raised his heavy eyes... but there wasn't a demon dressed in white called arrancar standing there.
The young tattooed Shinigami bowed down and reached him his hand.
"It's over now, Hana. Let's go home."
Rikichi smiled tenderly when he helped his best friend getting up on his feet again.
