Cameras flashed as the two co-stars strolled down the red carpet, side by side. The taller boy turned whispered in his friends ear:
"I saw your live cast today-" Darren let out a short laugh at Chris' irritated tone.
"-yeah, way to not make the fandom go into cardiac arrest." This time, Darren laughed out loud. Chris slapped his arm.
The two stopped for a moment, only to pose for a picture, and continued down the carpet.
"What else did you think of it?"
"Well I saw your ring on full display. Way to go," Chris mumbled, rolling his eyes.
"You're making it sound like the fans think we're engaged," The shorter boy smirked.
"Uh, Dare? They do think we're engaged!"
"Oh... Well you say it like it's a bad thing..." Chris started to blush.
"I never said it was a bad thing..."
They paused again and posed for another area of cameras. This time, Darren grabbed Chris' hand before continuing on. He gasped quietly and tried to hide his smile. On the inside, the boys heart was thumping... and so was Darren's.
"It really wouldn't be so bad if the fans knew about-"
"Shh!" Chris smacked Darren's arm again. Darren frowned this time, giving his companion his best "puppy-dog" look.
"You're lucky you're cute," Chris scoffed, nudging Darren.
"I'm really lucky I have you," He smiled. Chris' faced turned bright red again.
"That you are, Criss. That you are."
The duo stopped for a third time for yet another photo opp... and Darren had a brilliantly insane idea...
Chris smiled brightly at the cameras. Darren nonchalantly tapped him on the shoulder, causing Chris to turn his head and face him. The curly-haired boy smirked and pulled Chris into an "assertive" kiss as Mark would have put it. Chris was taken completely by surprise yet again. Cameras continued to flash more spastically as the couple remained in a lip-lock. Darren had his hands cupped around Chris' face. Neither of them could be disturbed by the shouting coming from the crowd. The two slowly pulled apart. They simply smiled at eachother for a moment.
"I love you," Chris murmured.
"I love you, too."
The fangirls kept on screaming with shock and happiness. The couple just smiled, intertwined their hands, and walked off into the theater.
