A/N: Hello loves, enjoy and make sure to leave reviews. The dialogue between Stiles and Lydia when they first talk is from Derek/Meredith's Grey's Anatomy ;)

"Kira, please for the love of God, answer your phone. Um... anyways drinks on me tonight because your girl just got her new job and we're going out to celebrate! Call me back or just come to the loft. Bye." I close my phone as I unlock my door.

I've been in this internship for quite a while, until this morning I got a call from some man Mr. Ryan Parrish that they were glad to have me on their team etc etc... I've never been so happy, and I'm so excited to start working!

I finally got accepted to work down at the police station as a "special agent" something very important that I've been wanting to do. I start my new job on Monday, and I decided to celebrate tonight, get a little drunk, have some fun with my best friend.

I feel like wearing something sexy but not too revealing, so I look around my closet. What felt like an hour, I finally decided to wear a short comfortable black dress, a denim jacket, along with my favorite high boots.

Now my face. I put my hair up to begin my make up. I decided to do dark black eyeshadow with a bit of eyeliner including mascara and add my favorite red lipstick. I let my hair down and shake it off. My hair is naturally wavy so I let it alone.

I take a look at myself in the mirror for a sec and smile at myself. I hear my door unlocked and turn around. "Well hello there, sexy mama." Kira winked.

I smile really big at her. "Did you hear-"

"Oh my god! Yes, how can I forget? CONGRATULATIONS LYDIA! Pardon me, Agent Martin! I'm so proud of you! You deserve this, and that's why, we're going out to get druuuuunk!" She gives me a hug.

I laugh at Kira and look at myself again. "Do I look too.. slutty?"

"There is no such thing as dressing slutty. You look hot, trust me. Now, let me shower and get ready and we'll be out of here by 8?!"

"Sure. We should eat dinner first and then go to any near bar there. Where do we go eat?" I question her.

"How about Guidos Pizza?" Kira asks.

"Let me reserve our table right now." I smile and grab my phone.

Kira and I came from a small town called Beacon Hills. It's an hour away from here. We've been best friends since high school, literally. We've also gone through a lot of stuff, serious things. Like losing one of our best friends, Allison. I think her death made us realize a lot of things, and got us a lot closer. We never really bring her up anymore, but the reason we're here in San Francisco was because Allison had always wanted to live here, all of us did. Allison was always the one saying how we were gonna live together and accomplish so many amazing things together and now here we are..

Kira and I go down to the Bay Area to eat at Guidos restaurant. We're half way eating our dinner were buzzing a bit since we had drinks with our food.

"So how's work?" I ask Kira.

"Work is okay." She says. Kira is a bartender part time. She's a full time student down at FIDM, which is a school of arts, beauty, and fashion. She started work a couple years ago to help her pay college.

"And school?" I take a bite of my chicken fettuccine pasta.

She looks down and smiles. "School is actually great. I'm halfway done."

I take a good look at her and squint my eyes. "Kira have you...met somebody that I have no clue about?!" I gasp and smile.

"Maybe..." She looks down and takes a long sip of her drink.

"Who is he? How come I haven't heard a thing about this mystery guy?!"

"We've only hanged out like in school. It's not a big deal."

"Uh, it is because you're smiling like a fool."

"His name is Scott," she looks around, "he's a major in music. He has his own motorcycle by the way."

I nod and continue eating. "Nice."

"I wanna ask him out though. I mean, the guy doesn't always have to ask out the girl am I right? We're smart, strong and independent!"

I nod at her again with my mouth full. "THEN DO IT!"

"Don't eat with your mouth full." She says. I smile stuck my tongue at her. " Look, I am and I will. I'm gonna ask him on a coffee date."

"Coffee?! We aren't these young students anymore. Kira you work at a bar, why don't you just ask him for a drink?!"

Kira shakes her head and starts laughing. "Maybe I will, jeez. I don't know." She takes a bite of her pizza and looks at me.

"What?"

"Have you heard from Jackson?"

"Ha! No. Come on Kira, you know I'm done with Jackson and have been done with Jackson."

"I know, sorry. It's just, I feel like ever since you guys broke up you haven't really met anyone. Literally."

"Look, I'm too busy to meet guys. The internship was really important to me and look where we are. I have a new job because of how hard I put into that. I studied my ass off for this."

"Yeah... You're completely right. I'm proud of you." She says.

I start thinking about my years with Jackson. My longest relationship. My first everything. We dated when we were seniors in Beacon Hills and through out my junior year in college. We were so in love. Our relationship was long distance after I moved down here. Even if we were only an hour away, it was still too difficult to see each other. When I moved, Jackson and I would fight about everything. He would make up excuses to not come down here and other bullshit. Eventually, he broke up with me not too long ago because he couldn't handle "any" of it. I've been single ever since.

The waiter comes by and gives us the check. Kira grabs it and says, "My treat."

It's nearly 11pm, Kira and I are buzzing it really bad. It's a good kind of buzz though, we are relaxed and having fun.

"Next round of tequila please!" I say to the bartender. He takes out two small glasses and the scary looking Don Patron bottle and pours down the liquor.

I grab both drinks and hand one to Kira.

"Here's to you starting your new job, baby!" Kira screams. We chug the tequila and I feel my chest is already too numb to feel the heat.

"Wooooooo!" Kira yells. "Ugh I don't even feel the heat anymore."

I grab Kira and give her a hug. "I love you Kira! I love you so much, don't ever leave me, okay?" I give her a quick kiss and hug her tight again.

Kira laughs it off and we sit back on the stools by the bar. "I love you too Lydia." She looks down and orders another drink. "I wish Allison was here to celebrate with us."

My heart stops when she mentioned her, "To our beautiful Allison." I say as we grab our shots and drink up.

Hours pass by and Kira and I are drunker and dancing with each other. Just a perfect night until she suddenly speaks.

"Lydia. Don't make it obvious but there's this really cute guy behind us, near your left...he's been staring at you ever since we've arrived."

I take a huge breath because guys, men are so annoying. Especially guys from bars, drunk guys. "Blah, who cares!"

"No listen to meeeee! Lydia, he's reeeally cute. He's dressed up really hot. Come on Lydia! He has this sexy but adorkable face. AND...and... and he's coming this way? Oh shit, act cool, oh god? Be nice and act cool," She says quickly. "I'm gonna leave, HEY DO NOT FORGET ABOUT OUR HANG TOMORROW!" She winks and turns around.

"Noooooo don't leave me!" I whine. I sigh and roll my eyes and thankfully the bartender comes my way which is proably the thousandth time.

"You want another drink?" He asks me.

"Yeah, can I have a Cosmo with extra lemon, please? Just keep em coming."

He nods then looks at the guy besides me. "What about you?"

The guy sits down next to me. "Uh, can I have a double scotch please." He looks a bit buzzed but not too drunk.

I turn to my left, and try my best to ignore him. I wander off thinking about how Kira always leaves me when she thinks good guys are gonna be my next Prince Charming.

"So, is this a good place to hang out?" He asks me.

I look around, trying to ignore looking at his face. "Uh I wouldn't know. I've never been here before." I answer.

"You know what, I haven't either. First time here. I'm new in town. I've never been to San Francisco. I start my job soon." He smiles.

I don't answer.

"Ahh, you're ignoring me." He says.

"Um, I'm trying too." I take a sip from my drink.

"You shouldn't ignore me."

"Why not?" I ask.

"Because I'm someone you need to know to get to love." He smiles really big.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yes." He continues to smile really big which is quite hot and cute and I can admit is making me feel things.

"So if I know you, I love you?" I smile.

"Oh yes." He nods and leans a little closer.

"You really like yourself huh?"

"Just hiding my pain." He keeps smiling at me.

We both awkwardly laugh. I take a drink from my cup and I can feel his eyes staring at me.

"So what's your story?" He says.

"I don't have a story. I'm just a girl at a bar."

He holds his drink a little away from his face and smirks. "And, I'm just a guy at a bar." He takes a sip of his drink.

We stare at each other, and I notice his moles around his face and neck. His bright chocolate brown eyes. His hair messy, but attractive, and damn do I really wanna make out with this dude. He smiles at me and I smile back.
