Ages-

Pan: 16

Trunks: 18

Bulla: 17

Goten: 17

I just want to put out there that Goten and Pan, Trunks and Bulla, are NOT related in any way. This may make some of the story less twisted for you as I write it. I'm not saying you have to read it because of this change, but if that's what really stops you from reading my story I suggest just walk away right now rather than complain to me about it. ;) I hope you enjoy my new story and it will all be written in First Person perspective of Pan. Enjoy.

Chapter 1 Start! : Could This Get Any Worse?

I hate this place with a passion. If there were some way for me to make myself sick so I could go home, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

That is my usual mind conversation I have with myself every morning at school. School is pretty terrible. Am I right? That is, unless you have lots of friends and a significant other. But I have neither of those. Yay me….

I'm trying to get to biology class when my best and only friend comes running and hollering down the hallway.

"Pan, hey! Wait up!"

I figured it was her usual daily routine of putting on makeup in the school bathroom and her asking me if it looked bad. It never did.

I stopped in the hallway and looked behind me to see an occasional fleck of Bulla's face over the tops of everyone's heads. She finally reached me and I gave her a questioning look.

"Does- does my makeup- look al-alright to you-..?"

She huffed breathlessly beside me. She tried to compose herself by flicking her hair over her shoulder dramatically. Although it looked close to perfection, some of her sweat had melted her foundation.

"Hold on a sec…"

I reached up to wipe it off of her cheek, but someone bumped into me and knocked me onto my butt. In the process all my books out of my book-bag fell onto the floor next to me, scattering research papers everywhere.

"Hey- what the?!"

I asked alarmed. I glanced up at Bulla and covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing. I had smeared her eye-liner all the way to the other side of her face.

Bulla looked over at the person who had knocked me down. She began yelling at them and insisting they help me up. It wasn't until I had seen who she was yelling at before I blushed severely.

The person who knocked me over was Trunks Briefs. He was the Quarter Back of the Orange Star Highschool Football Team.

He looked sincere about the incident but Bulla didn't stand for it.

"See what you did, jerk? You just knocked my best friend over. Well, don't just stand there! Help her up already!"

He didn't seem to flinch at her booming voice (which surprised me) and held his hand out to me with an apologetic expression. I took his offered hand and he pulled me up easily. Almost too easily; he practically pulled me into the air.

"Sorry for knocking you down like that. This Dumbass bumped into me for the second time today."

He pointed his thumb over his shoulder and rolled his eyes to a guy with black spiky hair. His grin was irreplaceable. I instantly recognized his face. He was the Best Running Back of the Football team. Goten-Son.

"Hey, cut me some slack, man! Everyone has been bumping into me lately."

Bulla's mood immediately changed from pissed off to dreamy-eyed.

"Well, I sure hope that you bump into me someday."

She said, appearing next to him and flipping her hair flirtatiously. They continued chatting for a while like that.

It took me a while to realize that the whole time Trunks had been staring at me. I blushed. Trunks scratched the back of his head and looked away. I bent down and awkwardly began packing my books and papers into my book-bag.

"Oh, let me help you with that."

Trunks insisted. He knelt down and began grabbing some of my papers that had shoe-prints from people stepping on them.

We both went for my Biology textbook and our hands touched. I glanced at him and my cheeks flushed red. I ripped my hand away and held my face in embarrassment.

"Sorry…"

Was all I said.

"What are you sorry for?"

He asked, picking up the textbook with one hand and putting it in my bag. He helped me up again and we stood awkwardly as Bulla and Goten continuously flirted back and forth.

We both stared at them and eventually I told Bulla we needed to get a move on or the bell would catch us.

"Hey, let's go. I don't want to be tardy for Biology again this week."

Bulla wrote her number on Goten's arm.

"Sorry about that whole- thing. Hope to see you around again."

Trunks said, walking in the opposite direction as us, with Goten bragging about the digits on his arm.

I smirked at him and waved as Bulla and I went on our way down the hall.

A few seconds after we had parted from the guys, the tardy bell rang.

"Damn!"

I said, facepalming in the irony.

A vice principal came walking down our hallway and yelled, "TARDY SWEEP" before gathering up Bulla and me. What I also didn't realize was that Trunks and Goten hadn't made it to class either.

Looked like this was going to be one interesting detetion…
