So here's a one-shot... I honestly don't know why they are coming out smaller... Oh well. This one-shot was inspired by Lana Del Rey's song 'She's not Me'

Marcel has grown tired of Gia and her consist need to go against him. Sure she has saved him several times. But that doesn't change facts. He misses Rebekah. The way she would retort and taunt him; go against her brother. How she would just play it cool after they had a spat. If they had a plan they would stick to it… unless it went downhill.

On a mission down at the Quarter he runs into her and they reconnect. Nothing happens other than exchanging stories. Her smile warms him like the first time he saw her smile. Makes him feel like a boy again and that makes his heart swell. She taught him everything he knows and that always seems to drag him back to the past.

Fate always torn him away from her; or her older brothers would drag her away. But last time it was his own fault. He pushed her way from him. Time told him over the years that the decision he made was a bad one. It bite him in the ass and hard.

As they enjoy their night it comes to mind that he can really get back with her. He informs her of all his thoughts and feelings. There on her pretty face is a sad smile that he knows too well. He hates that smile. A smile that always told him something deep in her heart and mind will keep them apart.

"She's not you, Rebekah." He mumbles as he takes her hand. Rebekah eyes him with uncertainly.

"She's not me, huh." She leans in. "Well, that's nothing new to hear especially from you."

"I guess not. But I really want us to give it another go, Rebekah."

"I'll think about it." She whispers as she gets up and starts away from him.

Do you think she would forgive him? I think he needs to work for you what do you think?-JasZ
