Rerun
A name that mean so much. Love, strength, hope, and sadness. Rerun, my dog. Sweet and beautiful. A cross between a German Shepard and a collie. When we brought you home you played with your new toy all day, you licked my little face, and whined when you got your first bath. The moment you were in my arms though you calmed down. Your nose taking in my scent. A scent you will never forget. As time grew we became closer, and when my brother came in the picture you stole are hearts once more. You protected him with your smile, you watched over him with your heart. We loved you from the beginning and we will love you to the end. You were more then a pet you were part of the family. Now though as we watch you lay on your bed, we know you will leave soon. Every breath you take I think may be the last. You have no idea what is wrong as I stair into your eyes. You have no idea that you have cancer, you have no idea that we are going to put you down. You have no idea, how much I am going to miss you. My dog, my friend, my sister through and through I write this so you know that putting you down is the best thing we can do.
dogs are not our whole…..but they make our lives whole.
