Tons of people look at her, but do they really see her? Sure they "see" the smart, happy, tiny, blonde, southern girl they all love. But it's what's behind the mask that matters. She's broken. Torn down, worn out, and alone. She lies. Lies to her friends, family, even herself. She tells them she's fine, completely ok and the same girl she has always been.
The girls figure she tells the truth, after all… why wouldn't she? She is all love and smiles, right? Wrong. The light in her eyes is dim now that they take a closer look and the love isn't as strong as it used to be.
She tries to hold herself together… but she can feel herself ripping at the seems. They see her slowly falling apart. Breaking down and closing off. They wonder what got her like this? No on e could come up with a reason… so they simply went on with life.
She however, hoped someday someone would come and ask her. Wonder what happened. But even she doesn't know. She may never know. So she lies and lies again, telling everyone it's all right. After all isn't is a spy's job to make everyone happy? Even if that means losing her own in the process? The one thing she is however, is beautifully broken in every way.
