Listen
Chiro, can you hear me?
No, it's all gone. How can I...
You failed...
Antauri...don't...
Your world...
You...
Monkey...Team...
Antauri...I failed...
NOOO!
Antauri's hurt...
You. I failed...failed...
You failed your world.
I'm sorry, but I can't believe...anymore.
Yes, I sense your suppressed anguish and sense of betrayal. The senses that twisted and writhed as you saw your beloved mentor plunge into a repulsive yoke...and it stopped. You knew what it was. It was the sound of thumping drums and a beating rhythm that flowed in your veins as well as his. When he disappeared, all you did was stare with disbelieving sapphire orbs. Everything you worked for now seemed a long distance away. You despised yourself more than anything. More than the decrepit orange monkey that you murdered without conscious or remorse...not that he deserved it. You felt it grow and attack your senses even more than when it loomed toward the horrible skeleton that now hung on a fleshy cord. The Chosen One...you...lost your friend. The one that you loved...not as a mate or lover...but as another beating heart that you held close to your heart. A kind soul whose veins pulsed through your own with unspeakable power and unsaid words. Never did I believe that my own creation would create such an impenetrable bond to a mere boy. A human one. But to you...slightly oblivious to the bond, but still comfortable with the one with olive orbs...only realized what you would miss and what had been lost and torn forever from your soul when it was snatched right from your delicate hands. You had sinned...but Antauri had led you through many dark times. He taught you more than anyone had ever done. The one in black gave you more than you ever wanted. You felt wanted...now that was just history to be written in a ripped history book with faded writing.
You felt cheated.
No...Antauri...You can't leave. You can't...
But he did. You felt it stopped right at that moment. A pulse beneath your palm halted in the time it would take you to die of a heart attack. In that tenth of a second...Your world stopped. By the movement of the dying light, a part of you too fell into that grotesque egg. You felt your insides squeeze tightly and melt. You wanted to die more than anything.
Antauri...take me instead...I'm the Chosen One...It's my duty...It shouldn't have been you. Oh no no no no no...This can't be right.
But it was. I felt it right here in this dark, forlorn space I was imprisoned in so long ago.
You are NOT the Chosen One.
Did you really believe that? Silly...silly boy. You are so young, but you are destined for many great things. Antauri saw that.
Why did he die?
Death is a foolhardy word. It isn't that simple. I was left for dead, I should know.
Why couldn't it have been me?
Dear, dear Chiro...it is not your time yet...In time you will discover...
Wait...what's that? Antauri?
That life...
Aaaah...it BURNS! What's...happening...to ME?!
...is much more complicated than that.
I...
...have to find him...
Antauri?
Are you there...?
Now go Chosen One. Go. Save your friend. Repay the debt, and in time you will learn the truth behind what Antauri told you...Chosen One.
Antauri? Is that you?
No, but it won't be long now...

Author's Note- Red's chapter eight and chapter nine are almost finished. I want to update then together. A-A-Anyway...This is when Antauri falls into the pit...Chiro doubts...and the Alchemist narrates. It's short, but I like it. This took, like, twenty minutes to write.
