[Axel's POV]
It's raining. It's cold. It's dark out.
All these elements became obvious to me as my vision developed. I breathed in a flowery scent as I moved leisurely. I grabbed the wall of a building near me and gradually pulled myself up.
It was only then that the smell registered.
"Mar-" The night was spinning. I felt myself fall.
"You—wake up," It was a command. I opened my eyes and tried to clear my mind. I stared up at the pink-haired menace standing before me. It was still dark out, but then, it always was. It made me wonder how Marluxia grew his roses.
A sharp kick to the stomach reminded me where I was.
"Ow!" I squeaked. That was close. "Watch it you sonuva—" I rolled out of the way of another incoming strike.
"You watch it." He sneered. "Now get up. And you aren't in any position to argue." I pushed myself up as slowly as I could. I wanted to annoy him. I hated his "above me" attitude.
"Stand up straight." He barked. I purposely slouched; earning myself a backhander to the head. He pulled my shoulders back. I smirked. It was Marly's job to teach me how to act. Maybe if I misbehaved badly enough, I could knock Mister High-And-Mighty down a bit.
"Ow! Fuck!"
Or maybe I'd just get knocked around…
