"Mikey, what's this?" Leo held up a video game. I didn't spare him a glance, as I frantically hit the buttons that would allow me to win the racing video game I was playing.
"What's what?" I asked, as my car raced across the finish line "Boo-yah! I am the master!" I cried, doing a little victory dance. Leo stopped my celebrating by grabbing my shoulders.
"What's THIS?" He replied, shoving the game in front of me. It was a Bratz game!
"Whoa, bro! I have no idea why that is even here, but it's not mine."
"What's not yours?" I groaned, even if it hadn't been my video game, Raph was never going to let me forget that I'd been accused of playing it.
"It's Nothing, Raph, Nothing at all!" I grabbed the hated game from Leo, and shoved it under a sofa cushion.
"Nothin', Huh? Then what'd ya hide that video game?" Raph dived for sofa, but his speed is nothing compared to mine. I grabbed it and ran.
"Mikey, if it's nothin' then lemme see it!" Raph growled, running after me. He stopped suddenly, as though realizing that there was another way to find out what it is I was hiding "Leo, what's the video game Mikey's tryin' ta hide from me?"
"Leo…Don't…You…Dare." I said slowly. Some strange light appeared in Leo's eye, a glint very much like Raph's when he's planning some thing.
"It's as he says, Raph, Nothing." I released the breath that I hadn't realized I'd been holding "Except a Bratz Video game." A grin had spread across my oldest bro's face as he said these words.
"NOOO! It's not my video game! I swear! I've been framed!" I cried.
"Mikey plays Bratz. HAHAHA!" Raph cackles evilly. My life was ruined.
"My sons, it is time for you to sleep." My nightly dose of humility was saved by Master Splinter entering the room, his walking stick tapping loudly against the stone floor.
"Hai, Sensei. But Mikey hasn't finished playing his Bratz video game." Raph teased.
"You may torment your brother in the morning, Raphael. For now…BED!" Splinter said, his tail beginning to beat steadily on the ground. A sign of annoyance for sure.
"Yes, Master Splinter. Good night." I yawned and tossed the hated video game onto the sofa. As I walked to my bed room, I heard Master Splinter mutter
"Kids…"

The figure was silent. It flowed from the shadows like maple syrup over waffles. The shadow ceased its movements The Kame Ninjas must not detect its presence. Another form entered the room, not as stealthy as the other, but quick and quiet nonetheless. It joined the other.
"Sensei…" the second voice whispered, low and husky, decided feminine.
"My daughter." Came the reply, spoken as though the speaker was full of infinite wisdom "Let us begin the ritual." Soon the room was basked in a light blue glow, illuminating …
Master Splinter and April, playing the Bratz game that had, hours earlier, been the source of Mikey's humility.
None knew of their secret, No one ever would.
Except for one.
As he crept back to his bed, one lone brother chuckled at his discovery.
"This is one time I'll find something better than any additions I've made to security." Donatello thought.
