The landscaping was chilly, and the creature hardly liked it. He felt as if he were about to fall here or there. Finally, he got to even land as he reached whom he was seeking.
"Jack Frost," Aster bellowed, his accent making it sound more angry than it should have.
The teenager turned on the boulder he was resting on, his eyes slightly red from the weather. Even he was slightly affected, but it didn't seem to visibly harm him. The younger looked curiously over the rabbit, "If it isn't the kangaroo."
"Again, I'm a bunny, mate," he tried to seem civil. Now that they were only people here, he could easily pound the stupid grin in.
The pale human scooted over for Bunnymund to have his own perch. The offer was hesitantly accepted, but he knew that it wouldn't be disproved.
Aster made a face as he then looked at Jack, "You sure come here a lot..."
That wasn't the oddest thing he heard, but Jack still overlooked Aster, "Oh... Yeah, I guess I do, huh?" He hoped his tone wasn't figured out too easily. The pale-haired male wasn't ready to have to talk about deep emotions with someone who seemed to ignore them more than anything.
How was Bunnymund going to try a conversation with Jack? By just keeping to this the best he could without giving in to just leaving, of course... "Do you want to talk about it?" That wasn't what he was looking for...
"Do I-?" Jack began to laugh aloud to that. It was less than an expected attribute to this conversation. Eventually he noticed that his acquaintance was just plain watching him now. He better answer fully, "If you don't mind, I guess I could."
The older of the two gave the acknowledging nod as a go-ahead.
Where to start? Hm... "You know when you think about your last life, and you try to put it all together?"
The elder made a snort. If he had a life before this, it wasn't one he really would like. He preferred to be the bunny who got to have semi-human attributes, rather than be some little scared creature with no motives but food. At least, that's what he figured rabbits did.
Bunnymund shifted slightly in his seat. Adjusting his belt, he looked over to find an oddly expecting stare. Did Jack truly expect him to remember all that much? A lot happened after being the Easter Bunny had its perks, but it was a very long lasting job to uphold. He didn't even know if he had an ancestors whom had taken the responsibility beforehand.
This wasn't about him completely, it was clear his... companion was having issues. Bunnymund moved to face him as much as he could while perched, "Jack Frost, you have no need to worry about your past life, it has come and went. You have changed very much since you have joined the Guardians, why do you want to remember?"
Jack didn't speak, and paused much like Aster did prior to this meeting. Eventually he began to act like any other teenager, "That's none of your business."
Aster was doing anything but dealing with this behavior. He's had so many encounters with teenagers who accidentally walked in on him giving out his chocolate eggs. Not to mention their mouths... He got up from the boulder, hopping down to leave.
The child of the frost frowned to this, "Please... don't go..."
"You clearly don't want to talk about this as much as you lead on originally," Aster just kept walking away.
"Just stay with me, Aster!"
Jack was actually reaching out to him physically, said creature found. It made some part of him flutter. His chest? He ignored it, but gave in to the call from the younger. Plopping back down on the boulder, he shivered lightly.
He pretended he didn't feel Jack Frost attempt to warm him with a hug, only making it worse.
It was the thought that counted.
