They say that love at first sight is just a fairy tale (like the kind filled with wolves in sheep's clothing) but our life is just one big fairy tale rolled together, and this little lady caused me to believe both in love and love at first sight.

(even though it took her longer to warm up to me, but in the end we got our happy-ever-after for the moment)

"Hows our little boy?"

Each day was filled with change (and the never ending need to be near her) as she got bigger and started to have this glow to her, and I saw more of that lovely smile then ever before.

(that smile filled with the need to be the best mother known to mankind, and myself as father-of-the-year)

"Hey you don't know that yet, it could be a little wolf girl."

She wants a little girl who she can give half her love to (the other half is always for me), and be a better mother then her own, but girl or boy, wolf or human, it will be loved more then any child.

(and get both worlds, one filled with cars and self-help books, and the other filled with grandpa and fairy-tales)

"No, no, Virginia, it's a boy. All wofly and manly just like his father. I just know these things."

"Of course you do. So me all knowing wolf, what's his name?"

"Now, Virginia that's a hard one. But I know it! Our little bundle of fluffs name will be...."

(fluffy is that a good name?)

"Don't strain you're self, besides I've already picked a name. For a girl (which I know the baby will be) Rose and for a boy, James."

"Good! Those are just perfect! Much better then Wolf Jr, lamb-chop or chicken. Oh gosh now I'm ravenous!"

"When aren't you?"

"Well, when I have you to nibble on, my dear!"

We knew that this wouldn't last (not for a year, not even for a minute) but we took all we could get of this bliss, filled with lots and lots of good food to eat and babies to love (ones that have even sharper teeth then daddy), and by the time our next adventure reared its head we were ready for each danger.

(and this time we have many more little ones to protect, and each-other to get through yet another one)

"Wolf Jr. is a nice name and all but James is much better, but if we bring him to the 9th Kingdom we better keep the little fellow away from those pesky bean-stocks."
