How can they say that? How can they say angels aren't perfect? That has to be a bigger lie than when he told himself he didn't have any feelings for her.
Yeah.
BIG lie. Bigger than the biggest lies in the big book of lies book.
If that even exsisted...
Now even he knew that angels only exsited in heaven. Or so they say. He also disagreed with that. Because he knew an angel. She just walked on Earth and always left her wings at home everytime he seen her.
And her name was Kagome.
She was indeed angel. Maybe not the kind of angel everyone else would think of, but she was one none the less.
She was perfect, too.
She was the first person to ever accept him for who he really was.
She was the only girl who made him feel the way he did, make him feel so weak, especially when she cried.
She was the only girl who he actually trusted.
She was the only girl who could make him smile just but smiling herself.
They might as well take the person who ever thought up the saying, 'Not even Angels are perfect' and throw them in jail or something along the lines of that.
Because it most certainly wasn't true.
Kagome was an angel, inside and out.
That was one of the things he had found easy to realize.
And he didn't deny it either. It was just the truth. She was an angel sent from a world five hundred years in the future. And it wasn't just a coincidence that she was pulled through that well...
In fact, he was glad that she was pulled into the well to this time.
Ever since he had met Kagome, the perfect angel who walked with the people of the planet and hid her wings from all to see, his life had changed. He had become softer, more emotional. Even now, after all those years of living alone, of wanting to live alone, he couldn't do it any more. If that angel left him for good...well, he didn't know what would happen. And he didn't want to know, he never wanted this blessed angel to leave his side for more than the three days she occasionaly asked of him. Hack, he didn't even want her to leave him for that long!
And he hated it.
Kagome was so pure, so perfect, and such a blessing, that she had done this to him. She had made him feel things he hadn't felt since Kikyo came along, but that was then, this was now.
Kagome had once again made him feel loved. She had made him remember what it felt like to love someone.
She had filled his heart. Made it feel warm. The once empty and cold hearthe had was now full and warm.
And he actually in a way...liked it.
Kikyo had filled this cold, hollow space just a little bit, not much actually, but Kagome, she had filled it up to the top, it was about to burst. She had done something no one else had.
She was a perfect angel. She was his perfect angel. And one day he would find a way to tell her this. One day soon, too. But until that day, he'll just lay back and relax, drift down the river of love, of passion, of warmth.
Damn anyone who says 'Angels aren't perfect', because they were.
At least, Kagome was.
