My take on the Forgotten Portrait Ending. Can't get over this ending. It is just too sad.
Also it is my first time writing so pardon me if it's too shitty.

It's always the same painting. And it's always the same lady. Doesn't she ever get sick of staring at that portrait? What's so interesting with a painting of a man slouched against a wall?
"Excuse me Ma'am. It's nearly closing time." I approached the brunette.
"Oh. I'm sorry." The lady apologized, taking her eyes off the painting just for a second to look at me.
Red. Wow. I've never seen such red eyes in my life, but it seems too familiar. Well this lady, she's always here in time for the Guertena exhibit. Every day of the whole week of the exhibit in the museum and always at same time from 5pm till closing. How do I know? Well, I've been working here for 2 years. And she's always here. ALWAYS. Staring at that "Forgotten Portrait", if not she'd be by the giant rose statue or the blonde "Mary", but that happens rarely. Such a weirdo.
"Pardon me?" the lady eyed me.
"Huh?" I asked, breaking out of my thoughts.
"You just called me a weirdo." The lady was looking very much annoyed. "I think you're the weird one here. Having purple eyebrows but black hair? Who in their right mind would color their eyebrows and not their hair!"
"E-excuse me?!" I stammered. "It's not my fault that my college has regulations against my natural hair color!"
"Your hair is purple?" The lady laughed. Beautiful. Her eyes were shining and full of mirth. Unlike the times, she stares… so full of sorrow.
"Shut up." I blushed. "Not that I wanted it too."
"Sorry." She said as she wiped tears from her eyes while starting to the exit. "It seems like it's getting too late. I still have work to do. Thank you for the time… uhm"
"Garry. Garry Blues." I smiled as I held up my hand for her to take while walking beside her. "What's wrong?" I asked as I noticed a few tears escaping her ruby eyes.
"I'm sorry." The girl sobbed. "I just felt sad."
"Uhmm. I-i…" I tried to think of something to cheer her up. Ah-hah! "Tell you what, if you still want to see these portraits when the exhibits done, I'll bring you to the storage room to see them again!" I cheered.
The lady smiled. "Thanks but you don't have to."
"Aww. But I want to." I grinned. "And if you need help… I'll come running."
