This is a really short poem that I wrote to reflect one of those long hours of Makoto in his research alone in his private quarters. A moment when Makoto had recollecting visions of Ifurita, his one true love.

Endless dreams, flowing through time,
Evermore nights, just staring through those eyes,
Eyes so deep, reflecting thousands of different emotions,
Emotions that becomes apparent, as though this dream is reality.
Beauty that was frozen, encased by jewels of eternity,
How I was drawn to its enchantment, unable to speak,
Words alone can't describe, such emotional tenacity,
Mesmerized I am, in its profound peace.
How could I exist, without feelings such as this,
How dreary it will be, so bleak, so desolate,
To not be cherished in one's joyful memory
It is to be cursed for all century.
Being together, bonds that were none,
Came fresh anew, such feelings revived yet again,
One could help but ponder, in its mysterious elegance,
Such eloquence, born in fateful destiny.
Castle of Dreams, where the Lady sleeps,
Draped in her own finery and bequeathed beauty,
Where no one knows, none could ever recall,
A solitary figure, deep in her slumber,
That will shine the realm, to bathe the world with her regaled glory.
When such encounter will occur, time will only tell,
Spaced out between time, separated by cold fate,
I swear I will return, I swear that is the truth,
Forever may it take, forever may I wait,
The one final wish, one last yearning,
I'll come back, for you
Actually, I wrote this poem after watching El Hazard: The Magnificent World. It is so perfect because, it so happens that I was planning to write one in memories of a person that I've loved and had passed to the other side. It is why I love this anime so much!! If only things could've been similar as the anime version at the end of it. Well, wishes are fishes..
